I am under the impression that same sex couples are wanting "more rights" and a "higher status" than married couples.

I am married and was told to leave a hospital room my wife was in. Should I get all hot and bothered and start protesting now ... or should I wait?

Triviality? The fact of the matter is the "Husband and Wife" will have to provide some sort of documentation...... Just like a gay couple.

I think I am going to start a straight marriage protest and claim gay people are bashing me.

Maybe I can get the backing of the ACLU and some federal funds :hmm:

All the more reason to believe this is just an argument for "give me more rights than they have" and "Hey, recognze me, I am more specialer than you".

FALSE! Gay couples are far more denied than straight couples because many states won't recognize the marriage.
