which does everyone prefer and why? i am just curiouse, i know i could never date somone who smells and dresses like a boy, i like the soft, sweet smell and long hair, and i cant grasp why girls prefer butch?

Doesn't matter to me...what's important is loving the person ..I'm attracted to both but I'm also bisexual so maybe that has something to do with it..lol

 Bi here, too and agree with Alicia and DD.

I personally was never interested in make-up, hate perfume, dressy shoes and "dressing up", don't wear jewelry or a watch and like shorter hair a lotta times.
I find both butch and stereotypically "feminine" womyn pretty and may like to get to know them-

lesbian, but not attracted to butch females. I'm also not butch, either.

I like girly girls too but my gf is more male featured than female ..she has her girly moments but she isn't a "lipstick les" and I prefer her that way

I am very girly and If I could dress up in a big poofy princessy dress and have my makeup and hair done everyday I would LOL

As opposed to me, where my uncle once told me that the thought of me in a dress, would be like thinking of his brothers (including the gay ones) in a dress...lol

Wirelessly posted

I used to be really butch. But you know the way i dressed really didnt define WHO i was, so personally i dont think it matters. I guess you could label me a... "fluctuating soft butch" haha! it waxes and wanes. I find all versions of women/transmen/men/etc worth taking the time to get to know. Its once i really start to get to know someone, that the attraction really begins.

I'm bisexual, and it seems I'm more attracted to sort of androgynous people. I don't tend to find myself really attracted to either very girly/effeminate or very butch/macho. I'm fairly middle-of-the-road in a lot of ways myself. For example, I'm usually in heels (but I'm also pretty short ) and I love my lipgloss, but you'll RARELY catch me in pink or skirts.

When you try to fit yourself in a little box your bound to break your own rules. My friends say I'm feminine but who I like depends on the mood and the moment. Or just how hilarious they are. Now that being said I do find myself attracted to androgynous people.

I love you, baby!! I don't get butch women, either. I have wondered if butch women are really FTM trans because they haven't recognized that or are too afraid to transition. There's a HELLUVA lot of them in Texas. The exception to that is that they would like the short hair, the tough stance, and the more masculine clothes and yet they like their bodies just fine. Oh, and I'm the lipstick variety, but more like a granola girl.

Lesbian here. I am a sporty, feminine girl. I like to wear makeup but you will never find me wearing a dress or high heels. I am not attracted to butch or very feminine girls. Just between. But personality is more important than looks. I had crushes on butch and girly girls because of their great personalities.

I'm also bisexual, and it seems to me that I'm more attracted to personality than any specific look. although I've noticed that I don't tend to be attracted to the incredibly butch girls, the ones that look like men... Not sure why, I'm attracted to men as well...
