What books should I read?

I love dark stories! I read a lot stories about abuse, murder, and bullying. Thirteen Reasons Why is my top favorite book! That book really impact me a lot. If you know any dark books. Not vampire nor werewolf. it is not my thing. History or fantasy. Thanks!
 
Joey - each person has their likes and dislikes regarding books. I have a passion for vampires, werewolves and magical books, but I also go for historical romance. It's hard to know what to suggest for you. Even with my historical romance, I only like specific authors and those are the ones my mother hates. All I can suggest is what I tell my son. Go online to the local library, search for the genre' you are wanting and look at the listing. Sometimes, you can look at the synopsis of the book to know if it's what you want.
