yeah, i really brave to apply to cornell and brown with application 75 dollar fee...few weeks, they accepted me I remember.

Ok, you may have felt you needed to be really brave to apply to Cornell. Not everyone feels that way. You need to understand that. Here's an example. My older sister graduated from high school with a 4.0 GPA. She didn't apply to Harvard or any other ivy league school. Why? Because she wanted to be an architect. She found a school closer to home that had an outstanding architecture program. So this was about what was the best choice for her. Doesn't make her any less smart whatsoever. When I chose a college, I chose RIT because of their business management program which gally didn't offer. It was about choice. Don't criticize others for not going to ivy league schools. They go where they choose and want. Not because they're scared to apply, which most aren't.
 
I was not surprised that there only one best school could be one in washington dc but why two georgetown and gallaudet if I applied there, they were competitive like harvard and mit?

no. I told you - you applied to their Continuing Education program. They accept anybody.

Yo kid,

they dont even bother to applly ivy universities because they choose not to. They decide whatever they want to apply at...They want to have their own life where they ables to have the opportunity of experience. Let them to be. I dont even want to apply Ivy Leagues because it is not what i want. I want to go to university that have MY major, opportunities, Deaf access, Deaf community, and people surrounds where i am able to feel comfortable. I AM pretty sure that they feel same thing as i am. WHAT IF one of top Deaf student went to Harvard, and not happy, transfer to Gallaudet and HAPPIEST...then, what is the answer? Will you stay Harvard if youre NOT happy there? If i am not happy at harvard, i'll sick myself up and looking for other university to transfer to.

Again, it is their decision to make and apply to whatever they want to go. You cant determine that top deaf students with 3.8-4.0 GPA go to top university such as harvard, Yale, and others. They have a right to make the call and go there.
 
Let me tell you about a guy whom I met in AZ years ago. He is very bright and highly educated. He is from probably 5th generation from a Deaf family in the West coast area. He took either ACT or SAT test and his ACT or SAT score was extremely high enough to get accepted into Harvard, but which college did he choose? Gallaudet, of course.

Now, he is now a principal at a Deaf school.

Like I said in other post, it is individual's preferences.

A woman likes a man with a job, a car of his own, able to take care of himself and not do drugs. Many do not care if he has a college degree or not. A job is a job to able to support things in life, depending what kind of lifestyle you want.

Well, girls will like you if you finish college degree, I think this is bcz it said that you are a genuine mature man.

If the girl looking for guy from ivy league or other college, just for money, then just leave away and not be with.
