:ty: Did a little research myself. And I have this TV series mentioning Conversion Disorder in "The Pretender" Season 4, Episode 14 "The Agent of Year Zero" Google it up and watch it. It's well worth it.

Thanks. I'll check it out, but I really prefer to stick with the diagnostic tools I use professionally. But I agree, Conversion Disorder is a very interesting phenomenon.

Now, i cannot hear at all except for the constant tinnitus. My pelvic bone was fractured during that crime and I also took lots of Vicodin for pain and Xanax for stress and anxiety too. It could have been caused by a number of things. i guess. Now all i do is volunteer cat sit and apply online for jobs.

If you will check the news reports, the crime she is referring to is her turning her ex in for having child pronography on his computer. According to the news reports, they had already broken up when she reported him.

The crime she is claiming to have witnessed was not directed toward her. If, indeed, she suffered a broken pelvis, it was not in the commission of the crime that she claims to have witnessed and reported. That crime was the existence of child pronography on an adult's computer. In fact, he has already been sentenced for such.

Her story had too many inconsistencies. I checked the news reports myself.

I also read the report. My posts are based on that and what she said combined. You are correct, there are many incosistancies and also many unknowns which re-enforces why we should offer (IMO) limited advise. IE. seek professional help. Also she did say her pelvic bone was fractured during THAT crime which leads me to believe it was the same crime.

Like I said, I agree that she needs to continue with professional mental health care. However, she is also refusing to do so based on the fact that she is claiming deafness.

And what she said about a broken pelvis being received during the commission of the crime of downloading pornographic material, and then viewing said material, is not included anywhere in the news reports. No where is there any report of him being charged with assault toward her. That would make her a victim, not a witness. She is claiming only to have witnessed the crime for which he was charged. Possession of child pornography.

You can start with this one. At the bottom are several more links. Although she claims to have been in fear, she never once sought a protection order. There are many, many inconsistencies in her story when compared to the news reports.

I indeed believe that this woman is in need of continuing professional mental health treatment. However, I am not so certain it is for the reasons she has told us.

Your sure are drawing a lot of conclusions based on pure speculation. There could be thousands of causes for her fractured hip that are related to the witnissing of that crime. You have also put your own spin on the story. Interesting

She didn't claim a fractured hip, she claimed a fractured pelvis received as a witness to the crime. The crime she witnessed has been detailed in the news. So it isn't speculation at all. And you are correct. There could be thousands of reasons for her claimed fractured pelvis. None of which could just as easily be totally unconnected to her reporting her ex for having child pornography.

I am pointing out inconsistencies in her story. Professionals are trained to do so.

Now that explains it, no wonder she was not in the "The Wintess Project" program which she should have gotten. That explain her trauma in this case, Conversion Disorder, she was paralyzed by fear which loses her ability to hear

That's my whole point, Nathan. It is almost as if she looked up conversion disorder and concocted her story to us around it. And it is also somewhat of a coincidence that we have a thread going on the ototoxic effects of Vicodin, and that is the medication that she claims to have been taking.

Then why, when she went to the police to report this crime, did she not request a protection order against the very man she was acusing of the crime? She certainly wasn't so fearful that she refused to speak with reporters about the incident.

you guys are speculating... How do you know she didn't get a protective order?

I'm sorry but I don't agree with you that every detail of that crime was discussed in the news. Unless you have every bit of information regarding this crime then you are speculating. Just because the news story didn't mention her injury doesn't mean it didn't happen.
