need help to recover website

I am founder of animal rescue for homeless animals. When I had my old computer, my ex made the website for the homeless animals for adoption to be seen. When my old computer died, I got a new computer ever since then I have not been able to update the site or do anything with it. I tried to contact the server of the site, they were not helpful and said they don't know why I can't do it on my new computer. Can anyone help me here ?
Thank you very much

If your website is still online, you can download the files to your computer via FTP. Do you have an FTP program? If not, there are free ones out there. Just google for "free ftp program"

Let me know if you need further assistance.

That's great to hear about your organization. What is the name of your organization? A few host services are willing to give you a free service as long as yours is a non-profit. Where state are you in?
