why do I feel that deaf must be lower case instead of infamous Deaf?

Yes, I agree. Use A and D in Bold while others in small .. no thick ones.

CoolieFroggie,

Your 2nd version looks awesome. In my opinion, I would suggest taking the CURRENT logo that we use for this forum and "improve" it -- perhaps simplify it a little bit *OR* chromize it? I noticed that business logos, in most case, either become more simplified or changed a little from its previous version, nothing dramatic. At least you did a great job on that second one.
