Do do you resize animated gifs?

I need to know how to resize animated gifs without screwing its animations? thanks. I tried resizing, then save, it wont run on its animation...suggestions? thanks.

Good morning. Use Adobe ImageReady if you have Photoshop. If you should give up trying, send the animation to webmaster(at)alldeaf.com and I'll do it for you.

Yeah, I tryed that website, but it won't work because it said it's too big. Can somebody resize an animated GIF for me?

I don't think it can be done. It's WAY too big... over 4 MB in size. It's also TOO LONG. If it was a short clip, it could easily be done.

As for GIFWorks, they only accept images that are 150 KB in size or less.

Whew! There's 163 high-quality frames in this animation! If you were to animate only a part of this thing, then it might be possible.

You may want to change your signature image. AllDeaf guidelines state that images be under 100 KB. There are some members who have images that are a little over 100 KB, but yours are nearly 1 MB each... making your signature 4 MB in size... and that is 40 times more than it should be.

It's like I said, your image is too long and too big.

I have imageready but I don't know how to scale down my animated image. The website has a requirement of 26KB and 100x100.

You use the resize feature, not crop feature.

Gee... 219 frames? That's way too many frames.

If you could reduce the length of the animation, the number of colors, etc... then it could probably be done.

Nice tutorial, i could never make gifs in different sizes or fullfill the corners of gifs and never trusted on any program but now theres the key and the Animation Shop 3 is so easy and so good !! Awesome, i did my own gif perfect for msn avatar!! Thanks a lot
