Your posts make liberals look so bad I sometimes wonder if you are a conservative plant.

I often wonder that with certain users. Some make conservatives look so bad, I wonder if he/she is a liberal satire, while some make liberals horrid-- it's a conservative plot.

Mayor McCheese died of a heart attack recently, did you not hear that? They took his Happy Meal toy away.

I'm pretty sure there was a quote from McDonalds: "There's something for everyone" that explains why you fellows are getting along.

All those stimulus dollars were funneled into families with kids screaming for Shrek toys and cholesterol discs.

I am sure it's too much work. Ya. that's it. It's so horrible that I think kids should be forced to eat better.

Raising kids is the work of the parents. Maybe you can include clergy and teachers. But why do we need laws to regulate a product that is harmless in low doses? It is not the monthly Happy Meal that is the problem, it is the daily feeding of bad foods along with sedentary lifestyles. You seem to think that banning a chunk of plastic will be the answer. I think people need to see how their kids are picked on for being obese; how they will struggle with health issues their entire lives for being heavy as kids. It should not be my responsibility to make sure your kids eat right, exercise daily. That is YOUR job. You don't want to do it? Well, I am booked up, watching the kids over on Maple Street....

I don't think he lives in SF. Besides, people can just take a short drive to Sausalito for the Shrek toy.

I think he got his toys on Tuesday...

No. Just the fact that nanny-ism is a disease, not a solution.

You don't live in California either, so why debate with kokonut? Or anyone on the forum for that matter?

Seriously, you people that oppose the ban makes me think of this picture:

If you're curious about that image, it's when he was denied candy or toy.

"Photographer Jill Greenberg's latest exhibition, "End Times," features children crying - like the child seen here in 'Shock.' The children are provoked by Greenberg taking away their candy or toys. This technique is known as "manipulation." (Jill Greenberg)"
