In the 50's, they call "race mixing is communism" and today, they call "universal care is socialism."
 
I don't get how racial mixing is communist. I guess I can see how universal care could be considered socialist, but nowadays, the words "communist" and "socialist" are often used as blind insults without any actual reference to the forms of government.
 
That's just it. It isn't, but you still had that fringe minority claiming that integration violated their rights and would be the end of this country as we know it. Just as they are now saying about health care reform.
 
An analogy to demonstrate the absurdity. Got it.
