Just read whole of this thread, I want to tell something.

The gas and oil are really obsiviously choking our ecomonic big time from those greedy asshole gas and oil companies. What I was saying is that the electric cars was invented at the year of 1920's! The government rejected the electric cars and use the gas/oil cars so those that produce the gas/oil can get some of $. We could have just use a simple smaller electric cars that can carry as many as a gas pickup truck can carry, then we can build more smaller roads, now you are getting the picture of.... reducing the pollution.

Gas/oil are the most worthless to our ecomonic system today, I wish they would pick the electric cars and reject gas/oil cars in the 1920's.. Ugh..

the concept of electric car back in 1920's was economically impractical and technologically inefficient. You're talking about some Model T-type which is fine. The battery technology is pretty much same as Thomas Edison. Battery Technology = Chemical Engineering. Chemical engineering is extremely difficult and takes extremely long time to advance.

1. Can electric truck haul massive cargo from point A to point B?
2. Wouldn't all electric cars put a huge strain on our power plants issue? More power plants = more pollution + more resources drained!
3. In terms of engineering efficiency - gas car is more efficient & practical than electric car

Now that we're very technologically advanced..... it's time we embrace the concept of hybrid cars. The only way the concept of electric car would be successful if a genius can come up with a new battery technology - a power core size of like Iron Man's heart that would be enough to power a truck for a week without recharging.

Well I haven't talk about the semi-trucks, I can understand those truck's situation, but do you think it is really necessary for hundred millions of people who live in area that doesn't have much communter time like the city to conitinue using the gas that others such like semi-trucks, buses, etc. really need it? I wonder if those people who have small communter use the electric cars, then it would make the gas more cheaper for semi-trucks, buses, etc?

Also about the comparison of gas and electric, the electric is very cheaper than the gas.

In fact, there's only like 50,000 cars in USA that only use electric..

Well I live in inner core of the city of Vancouver, Washington where there's the best public transportation available, but people still hate it and prefer to have a car. I guess some of people are just whiny spoiled and doesn't care about the enviroments and others..

It's not really all oil companies fault, it was supply/demand that where China and India are using more oil, China is catching and will become #1 most consume on oil in next decade, USA will dip to #2 but not know about India. Wartime is part of cause increase of oil price too.

We don't learn our lesson for mistake during oil crisis in 1973, 1979-1986, 1990 and again in after 2003, what's big shame for not focus on energy source or alternative fuel at earlier time, however gas price was stable and cheap in rest of 1990's to early 2000's, during boom of SUV.
