The polls say that 49% of America is ready for OBama, as opposed to the 40% that want to see McCain in office.

Agreed. And the south is not as opposed to Obama as you might think. But if 50% of those don't vote, Obama still has 49% of the remaining 50%, which now becomes 100% of those who vote.

While I agree with much of the Green Party's basic philosophy, a vote for the Green Party at this point in time will be throwing away a vote. Much better to vote against one candidate by voting for the other and know that your vote counted.

I always thought electoral college made the vote count not the actual individual votes? keep in mind I havent been able to vote till this year so im unsure how it worked
