No, I choose to ignore your post because you made an unnecassary post and also provoke as well toward me which is an unacceptance. You took my post serious because I quoted to convince someone´s post. I has no idea why you are upset for when other ADers said the same things as me?... Anyway, Alex welcome everyone from different countries to share, not just America. I really have no problem if anyone want or don´t want to be American or European because each person is different. This is understandable but you?

As what you accuse is a false which is an unacceptance that´s why I said is your post show itself ignorant and uneducation because if I hate America or negative about America what you claimed then I would not visit America or don´t want to friend with Americans, or not here, don´t I? I get along well with American co-workers because we are open mind and share cons/pros about our countries. You don´t know what and how American co-workers feel about Iraq war issues. That´s why I said is your ignorant and uneducation because you make a simple assumption without know anything.

You have to face sometimes when there´re positive or negative about our country and what we thought about our countries, etc.

Liebling, do you support the U.S. military being stationed and fighting in countries all over the world?

If yes, then it makes sense for you to work for the U.S. military in Germany.

If no, then it does not make sense for you to work for the U.S. military in Germany, unless you do it just for the money. That would make sense, and that would also be hypocritical.

You can see why people are confused by your statements. If you say that you don't support U.S. military involvement overseas, we can't understand why you want to continue working for the U.S. military. Your work in the support services makes it possible for the U.S. military to continue their mission overseas.

I think we all can agree that there are pros and cons within every country around the world. History shows us that there have been some hidious acts committed by many countries and even by cultures that date back to the begining of time. One would only hope that we can live and learn from the mistakes of the past. Unfortunately in todays world there are many things to consider. I know that my country (USA) is not perfect but I also know that there is no perfect country. I also don't agree with all of the involvement of the US and alot of that is due to my own ignorance.

Here is something to consider. Do your homework and find out the real resons the USA has been involved in other coutries affairs. Once you are armed with that information, ask yourself where the world would be if we didn't get involved. Consider the genocide that would have occured if the US didn't step in.

I hate the fact that much of our current involvement is over oil but I also see the reasons for it. In my view we should cut our dependancies on oil but that is a discussion for another thread.

What I choose to work for is none of your business. You make a lot of assumption without know what and how Americans feel... because I know them, not you. I feel that you look for an agruement and defend US political against your own people. I support people and their feeling for policital issues.

I repeat dozen of times for past years to you that I SUPPORT troops for defend our countries against attackers (terrorists), NOT go to attack other countries for unnecassary war. Soliders (veterans) say the same thing. Get it? If you can´t get it then I can´t help you.

Saddam Hussein was cruel to his own people but he did not attack our country but Aldolf Hilter does. Adolf Hilter send his soliders to attack other countries to kill innocnent people which Saddam Hussein doesn´t. Get it?


Simple question: Why Iraq war for? We agree that it´s unnecassary war because Saddam did not attack our countries, don´t he?

For whatever reason that you work for the American military, the result is the same. Your work supports American military missions all over the world, and I am grateful for that. However, you must realize that it seems very hypocritical to say that you don't approve of American military fighting in Iraq but you work for that same military. It's true that you work in Germany, not Iraq, but Germany is a very important support facility to the war in Iraq. Many American soldiers and airmen pass thru the Germany bases on their ways to and from Iraq. If the bases in Germany were closed, it would create a hardship for the American forces. So, it's quite clear that your work does support the war in Iraq. I'm not complaining; I'm glad that the German bases are available to support the war.


I'm not discussing how Americans feel. I was asking about your rationalization for working for a military whose missions you disagree with.


That's my point. If you are against the war in Iraq, why do you help Americans fight that war? The same pot of money that pays your salary also pays for the war in Iraq.


But you do support the soldiers fighting the war in Iraq because your job helps them to do that. If you support the war in Iraq, then that's consistent with your employment, and that's OK. But if you are against American soldiers fighting in Iraq, then your employment is inconsistent with your stated beliefs. That's all.

Well, USA isn't alone about different political system that cause you had turned off, Many countries, such as Mexico has some ridiculous stuff in political system, such as immigrant law issue. We are in different system and you don't need to be worry or complain about us.

I'm sure we all "get it," at least the part about who knows or does not know history. In your defense of Adolf, do you really believe he and his followers were not cruel to Germany's own people? Hundreds of thousands of Jews slaughtered were men, women, and children with full German citizenship. I visited Dachau near Munich and saw the photos, read the rolls. Many, many deaf and blind and other "defective" Germans were also put to death.

As I've pointed out several times, you have no idea what constitutes logical comparison, just as you had no clue to analogy. You just throw it all against the outhouse wall, hoping some of it will sticks and causes pain or problems.
