US military wanted 'sex bomb'

A 'SEX bomb' that would make enemy soldiers irresistible to each other was considered by the US military.

Declassified documents reveal the Pentagon toyed with the idea of an aphrodisiac chemical weapon in 1994.

The gas would have made enemy soldiers sexually irresistible to each other. The weapon's developers said homosexual behaviour among troops would deal a 'distasteful but completely non-lethal' blow to morale.

The plans, unearthed from a US air force laboratory in Ohio, were published in New Scientist magazine.

but had to chuckle at the idea of it. But, dangit, that was a harsh concept of a bomb! Maybe Cheri and ^Angel^ can go steal the info and we'll make one!

Color me dubious.

If such a chemical really existed, then why wouldn’t it be marketed? Americans spend tens of billions of dollars a year on products intended to make themselves attractive to the opposite sex. If this chemical really existed and really worked, imagine what the commercial market for it would be. Surely somebody would be selling it.

That's so true.. Then, there'd be real hope for Ravensteve1961 to get some booty!

Hmm... this would be an interesting weapon to release here on campus at RIT! Suppose, they created these in little vials like those stink bombs! I simply drop a few and anyone within 100 yards becomes extremely horny and desperate for sex. The next thing we know, they all end up on the ground and having sex.
