"President out of touch....plays golf during bad economy..."

Flashback: Axelrod called Bush

Although I don't think Bush played 97 rounds of golf during his presidency.

Golf is a bit to sophisticated for Bush. Horseshoes may be more his style. Now how does the president not playing a game of golf improve the economy. Not to mention its probably a business golf game where he can meet and chat informally with various politicians and business leaders. More probably gets done on the golf course in a day that a week on capitol hill. Maybe you need to tally up Congress's golf record

It never ends. Take a look at the topic list. Everything that can be spun into a negative has been done. Trust me. I take these threads lightly. Nothing to get riled up about.

Kokonut is trolling you for the sake of looking for trouble to rile us up. Enough from him. Ignore him.

He doesn't get me riled up, But I love to point out the stupidity of some comments made in the media that lots of clueless people then jump onto the Bandwagon.

Exactly, he won't trolling you if you support conservatives that approved by kokonut.

Man, forgot about that game. I think it was on one of my old Nokia phone. But it was sure ironic about Axelrod, eh?

My bad. It wasn't 97 rounds of golf....it's 100.

President Obama plays 100th round of golf, draws fire from critics - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

I wonder how will Axelrod's quote reconcile with the 100 rounds of golf as being "out of touch" for playing golf during a bad economy when Bush only did 24 rounds in his two terms. Does that mean O is 5 times as out of touch? Axelrod will have a lot of explaining...er, backtracking to do.

Think it would be fair to start looking at the times Obama spends on the basketball court? My point being, with golf it is out in public for the press and all to know about but within the White House the basketball games can be hidden from view

Yeah. Imagine all the speaking in Ebonics that must be taking place. We need to know what is being said, who he plays with, and whether or not he can sink a free throw.

Golf?

Seriously?????

I love golf. But, guess what? I have better things to do with my time than troll a forum criticizing the president for playing golf.

(Who shall not be named), you should be downright ashamed of yourself. We can all see through yet another ploy. ENOUGH.

I wouldn't call 6'2' and 176 pounds athletic......that's a skeleton. Besides, I have seen him throw a ball and play golf....no athletic ability there. But that really doesn't matter much when it comes to running the country.

The guy that should be ashamed is Obama. Our nation is in very bad shape....many people would love to play golf 30 times a year but they don't have a job to pay for it. Many would like to take their kids on vacation this summer.....but...no job. Obama said "shared sacrifice" and "I will not rest" so to play golf when others are suffering is quite hypocritical. Obama deserves all of the criticism he gets.

Same goes with you and you stated that you are billionaire so why didn't you hire more Americans to work?

I don't care if our nation is in bad shape but it isn't Obama fault.

ah... so you have a problem with Obama playing golf... I don't. I certainly do not want our President of United States to be burnt out and incapacitated especially since he basically has a 24-7 hrs job.

Many Presidents would like to have a 9-5 job and relax after work everyday and have a weekend off... but Presidents do not have a luxury to have that kind of time-out.
Many Presidents would like to see and play their kids everyday but... no time.

I mean... how many regular folks do you know that have their hairs turn white in just a couple years?

I bet he could out-golf and out-ball all other presidents in a 1 on 1... Nobody's got the game skill enough to take him on.

Yup, I agree with you.

Obama loves golfing and basketball so I respect his hobby.

Again... "shared sacrifice" "I will not rest" I would feel guilty playing golf if it were my job to run the country in these troubled times. Maybe he just doesn't care that much.

Golf? Not even close. Clinton would smoke him and W is actually a pretty good golfer.... Again, not sure why it matters.

That's why you're not the President of United States. Perhaps you should try and run a Fortune 100 mega-corporation before you criticize and shrug like a silly lil' clueless buffoon.

I know that resting when you say "I will not rest" is a lie and playing golf when you say "shared sacrifice" is hypocritical. That's all I need to know here.
