I'm going post a real issue with welfare program.

Some welfare programs have flaws and few policies are failed, for example, traditional public housing projects are biggest failure ever because all poor people are isolated in one location that where public housing projects are in. I don't blame on FDR and Democratic Party because they were necessary to rid of slums in urban area. They didn't know about long term effect in few decades later when crime, gangs, drugs are much higher in area with public housing projects located so some of public housing projects are replaced with mixed income housing under HOPE VI and it is very effective to have a mixed income housing. I support government to replace and expand the mixed income housing.

Section 8 has some flaws because there are many apartments in majority white cities do not accept Section 8 so make them looks racial profiling because majority of Section 8 are minorities. Section 8 has longer wait list due to limited funding and there are numerous poor people stuck with other way like live in poor condition housing or trailer or on street because public housing projects and Section 8 are full. It looks like our congress don't job to fix the flaws and we need find way to get people out of poverty so they can enjoy their own life.
