Best and Worst on consoles.
Here are my opinons on these on what is great and what REALLY needs to be improved.
First let's go with the Best part: Best hardware: Playstation 3. Best Graphics: Xbox360 Best Internet Service: Xbox live Best Controller: Xbox360 Best Backwards compatiablity: Playstation 3 Best library of games: Xbox360 Best memory storage: Xbox360 with 120GB HDD. Now...let's go with the worst part. Worst Hardware: Xbox360 Worst Internet service: Wii Worst controller: Wii (Wii motion should've been built into the controller at first...and batteries die too quickly.) Worst Graphics: Wii Worst Memory Storage: Wii Worst Backwards compatiablity: Xbox360 Now...that's all I can think of this time. If any of you disagree, feel free to chime in. |

Not liking the Wii are we?!
First of all - Nintendo never really had internet service. They did have it for GameCube, but it never took off. They knew they couldn't compete with XBox Live. So, when the Wii came out, they could NOT believe that it was completely much better than xbox and PS. Yes it's not the greatest, but it's enough for easiness and for family. Aren't Mii's cute?! They're very simplistic. They rather focus on gameplay than graphics. The wii has the same/similar graphic card as GameCube. The games are still pretty awesome, like Zelda or Resident Evil 4. Nintendo has always been family oriented company and games. I would be REALLY surprised if they ever accept Grand Theft Auto. It won't happen. While hardware and graphics are so much better on PS3 or Xbox 360. You cannot deny the numbers. There's a lot of nursing homes that are using this console to keep them active. There's quite a few people that lost weight playing Wii Sports or Wii Fit. You can't do that on Xbox or PS. The only thing I totally disagree with you is backward compatibility. Wii has backward compatibility to 100%. PS3 doesn't...at least not 100%. They will play all Playstation games, but not all PS2 games. Different types of PS3 accept some PS2 games, others don't accept at all like the 40gb and 80gb (this is from the start of launch).

The 60GB model can play most of the games for PS1 and PS2 due to the emotion chip. However, in the 80GB, they replaced it with an emulation software. As a result, less games were playable. Although you still can play PS1 games on them. 40GB has no emulation software for PS2. Wii, it can play all of the games since they use an emulation software. Although you cannot stick a NES cartridge into it or anything like that. The Wii is a neat console if you ask me. |

No, BD is just more storage and improves of speed, it has nothing with improves of graphic.
On graphic comparison for Battlefield Bad Company, it shows more vivid and little brighter on Xbox 360 version but shows little darker and little dull on PS3 version since rest of them aren't make very difference. There's video to show about graphic comparison. Gametrailers.com - Battlefield: Bad Company - PS3/360 Comparison HD Other link for more detail Xbox 360 Versus PlayStation 3 Graphics Comparison - Features at GameSpot Xbox 360 Versus PlayStation 3 Graphics Comparison: Round 2 - Features at GameSpot Quake Wars graphics comparison: Xbox 360 vs PS3 - VideoGamer.com Most game titles looks same, some are little difference and few are very difference.

Best hardware: PS3 obviously
Best graphics: PS3 obviously Best Internet service: Probably XBL Best controller: DS3 Backwards compatibility: Who cares? Best libary of games: XB360 Best hard drive storage: Clearly PS3, with the potential to upgrade up to 1tb. Once developers realise the limitations (they already have) of DVD9, they'll all release their games only on PS3. Seriously, who would make a HD Console, with DVD being the storage of the HD material? |

MGS4:Guns of the Patriots is the first PS3 game that uses a full 50GB dual layer Blu-ray Disc through extensive efforts in data compression. I guess the rest of ps3 games are using 25GB single layer blu-ray disc

Probably because it's tough for game companies to come up with a similar discs for ALL three consoles. Notice that all three consoles have many same games? LEGO for one. The companies is kind of stuck with two extremes - Wii with their graphics, and PS3 with their dual layer. Sure, it may be better for Sony to have 1st party games to use Dual layer. However, I think because when they came out with PS3, game companies are scrambling to take advantage of it. It takes about a year to 3 years to create one game. So, that's quite a long time. Not like those simple days of Atari. :-P
