Mario Kart Wii

It's already came out, would you get one for Wii?

For me, yup... I got it on after midnight.

The game is pretty good so far. I got it today. The steering wheel actually isn't too bad. Relatively easy to use.

Also, the online mode works quite well.

What's the degree limit (suppose straight forward is 12 o'clock, how far left and right can you turn the steering wheel)?

I've noticed some people playing racing games. They will turn the steering wheel more than they need, but they don't know.

It's great game so far, also more features than previous Mario Kart from Gamecube.

It does support Wii remote, steering wheel, Gamecube controller and classic controller, I use Gamecube controller because of too easier to beat because of not good on steering wheel.

It has 32 courses on total, 16 for all new Wii courses and 16 for all previous generation courses.

The grand prix has 12 characters instead of 8 characters from Mario Kart 64 but Mario Kart DD is different due double in one kart.

Battle is offered to single players instead of traditional for 2 players or above only.

Was there a Rainbow Cup? If so, what was the track like?

All Mario Kart games had Rainbow Cup as the last level and each version was harder than the last.

What is the steering like? What's the limit for a full turn?

drive almost like real, if make full turn, it went max turn. heh. It's not really out of control when you steer, it's almost comfortable after first few minutes of learning curve.

I know the steering isn't like a real car.

For instance, let's suppose going straight means the steering wheel is in the 12 o'clock position. Some cars can only go as far as 7 o'clock for a full left turn and 5 o'clock for a full right turn.

What is it like for the Wii? The reason why I'm wondering is because I've seen people who don't even know what the limit is and they end up turning it more than needed.

What if the full left turn was only at 9 o'clock, not 7 o'clock. So, turning it to 8 o'clock or 7 o'clock will still give you the same result as 9 o'clock.

it goes 9 o'clock. With button to make more turn, it go at 7 o'clock. More like slide turn. add with mini-turbo if make right slide turn repeat. I'm sure you know how to play.

I know the concept, but I've never played the Wii version yet. I will as soon as I get my Wii.

Me and my husband went to Best Buy yesterday. I saw the Mario Kart with wheel WII. I did test it. I love it! My husband walked behind me. He wanted to play for test. He love it! We are planning to buy WII after honeymoon in summer. I must get a WII FIT!!!!! I was first time to play WII at my friend's house. I got a sore in my arms and legs from WII. That's so amazing! It's good for health to exercise with WII!

I played it at a local Gamestop (without the steering wheel). Fun game... a bit too easy though.

150cc and mirror are most tough.
