Hmm? When I first played the PC version. I couldn't find the subtitle option, but later on, I found it in CONTROLS under the OTHER option. Maybe it's there on the PS2 or XBOX?

I added in Red Dead Revolver (the Western shooter in which you play with a 6-shooter gun!) today in addition to the games mentioned by other posters in here. - It was developed by Angel Studios for Capcom before Rockstar bought the developers and renamed Angel Studios to Rockstar San Diego. I confirmed the subtitles by the demo in the xbox booth at my local EBGames.

Namco is the 3rd party subtitling leader for now. However I also give kudos to Rockstar especially their Rockstar North and Rockstar San Diego studios for subtitling their games and cutscenes.

Is "Red Dead Revolver" supposed to be better than the GTA series?

I dont think so but I might give this game a try but I'm not much of a cowboy wannabe, if you catch my drift.

Well Steel....Red Dead Revolver aint GTA,

However, I tried out RDR...the controls were a bitch at first especially the fact that I had to hold L-Trigger to aim before pulling the R-Trigger to fire any weapon towards an enemy.

One thing I found interesting was if you fired the guns, the gun would take DAMAGE tha would cost you $ to fix, not to mention the aim from a badly-damaged gun would be really fucked up!

The graphics were totally considering it looks like Rockstar-SD took a scratchy movie film from the 1910's silent movies and added color to the effects in both gameplay and cutscenes.

Another confirmed subtitled game: I confirmed the subtitles at the demo booth at GameCrazy today.

Steel...Your gonna love the cinematics, but the controls and camera....its a bit screwy to tell the truth....

Van Helsing (Saffire/Vivendi Universal) -PS2 and xbox

The subtitles in the game are "Always On" so just pop the disc in and play to your heart's content

Your in luck the gameplay screams DMC. But the camera angles when moving Van Helsing totally sucked donkey balls that all I could say when I played the game.

Riddick, for the Xbox, has subtitles. But you should be able to turn them on at the opitons before playing the game.

Hey Watch out for Fable it is going to be whoaaaa best role play gaming ever! It was originally to be named Project Ego but it was put on hold to redevelop everything into perfect condition and subtitled....there are two character (it is concept similar to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic) BUT it will be COMPLETELY different with two storyline...ok in Fable you play as good character in storyline and also you can play as bad character in TOTALLY different storyline sound fun? For SW: KOTOR you play either good or bad character but the storyline are same but what it change the storyline is how you react to light or dark side simply...

I've bought BloodRayne 2 for XBOX last week (though it is on Playstation 2 version, as well) it does contain subtitles but not during those computer animated cutscenes...only during before and after boss battles cutscenes...bleh but still a cool game anyway.

33) Resident Evil: Dead Aim (Capcom/Capcom)-PS2

I thought they will only release the Resident Evil series for the Gamecube only but I'm suprised to see that Resident Evil is released on the Playstation 2.

those newer titles for the Playstation 2 are only spin offs...the "exclusive" titles for GC includes main characters from the previous series including Leon from Resident Evil 2, etc...

(which Leon will appear again in RE4...)

I understand now, I played the original Resident Evil on the Playstation, I didn't like it too much but for some reason Resident Evil really reminds me of the game "Parasite Eve" which I LOVE TO DEATH. I think the controls bothered me than the game, it was just terrible controls and I was really pissed when Parasite Eve II has the same controls as Resident Evil did but I got used to it, maybe I should give it a rent of the Resident Evil series on the Gamecube and if I don't let the controls bother me and play long enough to like it, I will probably buy the Resident Evil series on Gamecube.

not really, there's only subtitle in cinametic scenes, not in-game.
man, when i first played this, i went right to the option and 'lo! a subtitle!!!
i was real excited, and watched the first cinametic with subtitle in bliss, but then i got really disappointed that when i got in game, playing master chief, the sergerant in the first level spoke without subtitle... man. its like being punched in the face after thinking its fully subbed...

probably ya should include a list of cinematic subbed games and a list of cinematic and in-game subbed games. just an idea.

heres a list of games i've played that has subs (cinematic and in-game)
(all of em xbox since i only own xbox, but some of these games available for other consoles do include exactly same subtitle as xbox, of course.)
silent hill 2
silent hill 4: the silent room
the suffering
star wars republic commando (yes, in-game sub included, unlike halo 2)
fatal frame
x-men legends
ninja gaiden (great game)
deus ex: invisible war (BEST in-game sub ive ever seen, ya'll even read *groaning* or *screaming* or whatever whenever an enemy gets shot and groans or screams and other stuff.)
max payne 2: the fall of max payne
beyond good & evil
hunter: the reckoning redeemer (i think)
freedom fighters
otogi
metal gear solid 2: substance
shenmue 2
and all of rpg games (fable, the bard's tale, kotor, etc.)

and ill be playing brother in arms xbox game tonight so i'll know whether its subbed or not.

haha, im a gaming freak nerd. well im borne to game, and ill die as a gamer...
