Buy Crackdown- Free Golden Ticket to H3 Beta

http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/27/bu...get-crackdown/
Apparently only in specially marked boxes of Crackdown starting Feburary 20th. I would assume the first run/printing will get those free golden tickets. I think I will snap it up, and Crackdown got a good preview by Dave Halverson at Play Magazine a few months ago.

Yeah, Crackdown looks pretty good. It is like GTA, but more like True Crime where you are a cop, and you chase/hunt down bad guys.

Hell its more like TC:SoLA than TC:NYC but ofc tossed in the GTA mix too

Anyways the creator of Crackdown was also the genius behind the original GTA and Lemmings. His name is Dave Jones and besides Crackdown he has a ultimate Cops vs Robbers MMORPG being developed named "APB".

"APB"? That reminds me of an old arcade game with the very same name. I used to like playing that one, despite how hard it was.

Crackdown Demo available today on XBL. I will be downloading it in a bit, am downloading the Battlestations Midway Multiplayer demo.

@Pacman, Yes, Crackdown has XBL COOP story play.
@XBXGM3R, Crackdown has been called the bastard child of GTA and Mercenaries. It sounds good. I will post my opinion of the demo later after I give it a few spins.

Anyone able to download the Crackdown demo? I saw the ad this morning on XBL, but could not download it, and then in the evening, it's nowhere to be found on XBL marketplace. I will be checking again later tonight and tomorrow..

The 1.4 GB demo took me 45 minutes to download, and IMO, it wasn't worth it. It has a nice video, good graphics, although cartoony colored. I disliked how the enemies were generic and looked like puppets.
Download at your own risk.

DOC, I knew it before your words came out of mouth about this.. I think crackdown's graphic is very horrible! it is look like original PS2 OR original SUPER Nintendo, heheheh..

I choice SAINT ROW is BEST GAME of 2006 YEAR! SAINT ROW is best storyline, graphics, rag doll psyhics than GTA..

So you will buy Crackdown? I did like the video at the end of the demo, it showed some fun but somewhat repetive gameplay.

Pacman, did you load of crackdown on XBOX LIVE, is not it?

I should not bring any stupid judges about this game heheh.. but i noticed crackdown's graphic is not very impression.. I hope crackdown's story is great and make sense like saint row's storyline was made sense, however the end was not make little sense of story.

Ha Ha.. you correct me that is my problem! not because of SDTV.. that is silly SDTV issues you discuss with me. I really never complaint about sdtv.. Why i get hdtv.. I have many sdtv. I need sell it first. but kids always touch SDTV screen that whats my major concerns if in events, kids touch HDTV's screen.. I think that should keep sdtv till kids are grow and mature enough..also hdtv price gonna down in few years..

I tell you, just being honest, for example i play thq8 on HDTV, Graphic's background is very sharp and realitic! but graphic's people is very terrible. its look not right.. its look like XBOX's graphic.. there is mixed graphic's background and people.

THQ8 look good on SDTV.. that s what is my opinion..

Oh well, if you get HDTV then you will feel like shit and never goes back to SDTV again.

Graphic looks like cartoon. It is okay to me. I will wait for review of this crackdown through gamespot.com or ign.com. Look for it later when Crackdown is in store.
