Newegg.com - BenQ FP241W Black 24" 16ms (6ms GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor - Retail

Sjones is right that monitor need be more than 23" to support 1920 x 1080.

I wish that MS will release HDMI cable but some members said that MS had problem to work on HDMI cable due chip issue.
Yes, I need HDMI badly. Having vga or component is pain for 1920 x 1080.

Yea, I don't want to get PS3 due not happy with Sony right now, also I don't like some system on PS3 and not all games are support 1080p, that surprised me and store much more MB to save games, such 150MB for Tony Hawk Project 8 compared to 2MB for Xbox 360. I hate when gives more bugs on Sony TV since not support on 360 and encourage gamers to buy PS3 but PS3 is really wracked.

I wouldn't get PS3 until 2008 and check out about what Sony is doing with PS3. I don't want waste on my money to spend for PS3 if going fail like Dreamcast does.

Sony is just care about their profit and that's pathetic.

Now I went to display and changed the resloution to 1024x768, which I think should be about 720p, so it looks pretty much the same as 1280x1024 which is almost around 1080p but for some reason I think 1024x768 is alot better since my montior isnt that big or wide or anything so it's proably the most apporicate size to run on my 19' montior.

Have you tried change into 1280x720? It's 720p with widescreen.

Yeah and it looks like shit since it only shows one large black bar on the right of the screen so I changed it back to 1024x768 instead and looks much better and doesnt show any black bars around.

No black bars on 1024x768 and the video quality looks pretty much similar to 1280x1024 and I tested perfect dark zero on both resloutions and both seem pretty much the same so since my montior is 19' and full screen I think 1024x768 is the best to go on my monitor.

p.s. I guess you could say the resloution on both I used were WXGA or SXGA since both looks pretty much the same on my screen.

I read on aonther forum that 1080p is not really worth it unless you have a 60' TV.

Not really, it's better fit on 40" and over with widescreen and 23" or over for widescreen monitor.
