Today, I picked the two copies of X360 games which are GEAR OF WAR AND TONY HAWK PROJECT 8.. Because I just find out that they are on sale, each of game for 39.95 bucks.. they just released recently..

THANK TARGET STORE!

Gear of war is F#$KING CHMAMPION!! I don't know how to example of decribe about GOW.. That game really remind me from DOOM 3. But GOW is more highly qualiy graphical features.. NONE ANY GAMES'S GRAPHICAL BEAT THIS GOW'S GRAPHICAL FEATURES.... If you dont have this game... MUST GET IT NOW THAN REGRETS!

THP8 is Good and some improvment, better graphics from old/ recently games. the control is much better than wasteland: tony hawk.... But same tricks are alll same games.

XBXGM3R, you will like THP8's "Nail The Trick" mode. It may be hard to understand at first, but it really is cool and intutive. It took me a few days to get used to the "nail the trick"mode. "Nail The Trick" is by ollie/jumpng then pressing down on both sticks. Very tricky at first, but easy to use when you get the hang of it. Fun too.

We don't buy video games. Our family (including daughter's family) buy board games so the whole family can sit around the table at night and play together.

My grandsons got some money for Christmas, so they went to Barnes & Noble and bought some interesting board games. One was a version of Monopoly with an underwater sea creatures theme, and the other was a game about Dragons (I forget the exact name).

We gave our son-in-law an updated Monopoly game, with modern properties and prices, and tokens that represent today's life.

We like games that at least six people can play together so no one is left out.

Well, this thread was listed under "Video & Board Games", and the title was "What is your most recent game purchase?", and it didn't specify electronic, or video, or console only, so....

well we never had a lot of people post anything about board games until you posted about them. so that was why I was like wow someone finally posted something about board games in this section as this one is pretty much dominated by videogamers like me, steel, xbgamer and Doc.

Yeah, I agree with what sablescort's comment.. I feel like that million years i never hear from anybody post here till board game you purchased and post now!!

But I really like to play board game.. somehow I totally forgot the board game stuffs, because most people are not interesting board game.. nobody wanna play board game with me.. that why where I ended up to interest video game single player by myself more than board games... Now video games really addict me already...

Reba, that is cool what you got board game for your son in law..

My last game I got was Test Drive Unlimited. I've been playing the heck out of the game. I like the fact it allows you to drive anywhere on the island, although I seem to find the water quite a bit!

Update:

I now have Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater for Playstation 2 and LEGO Star Wars for Xbox. The MGS3 game was bought by me and the other was a Christmas gift.

I recently got LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy for Xbox for Christmas too. Now, I have both of them.

I also got Chicken Little for Xbox as a Christmas gift as well.

SSX3 for XBOX. I had been keeping my eye out for this game for weeks since it got added to the BC list for the 360. Finally, I found it in a GameCrazy where I had my Gears disc fixed.

We've gotten lots of games lately. Some of the ones I can remember:

DS:
Contact
Touch Detective
Cooking Mama
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

Wii:
Elebits

PS2:
Final Fantasy XII

Xbox:
Call of Duty 3
Splinter Cell: Double Agent
Gears of War
Saints Row

...oh, and did I mention Viva Pinata?

We've also gotten jigsaw puzzles and strange board games that probably no one's heard of.

I got Nintendo Wii, Wii Sports, and LoZ: Twilight Princess as Christmas gifts from mom and sisters. LoZ: TP reminds me of Soul Blazer games for SNES.

I got a copy of Just Cause for the 360 at Rhino Games. Funny thing was that the price for a new copy at 44.00 was the same for the used copy. I was like wtf? so I asked the clerk why the hell was the new game same price as the used one. His answer was the store needed to get rid of the new copies in stock so I indulged him by buying the new copy.

LMK if you ever get past the "Coke Field" mission. I seem to be stuck on that mission. When you're in a gunfight, keep moving. I have been able to take care of armies by doing this. Time for some more R6V.
