Computers are also getting a little more user friendly, but eventually every PC gamer will encounter some technical complication, be it a device driver that needs updating or components that are simply incompatible. The truth is, installing a game on your computer is always a bit of a gamble. You never really know if it's going to work until you're actually playing the game, and even then, in the back of your mind, you're expecting it to crash at any moment. Unlike most console games, PC games have the potential to get ridiculously complicated. This can give a game depth, but it can also result in tedious arrays of keyboard commands and lengthy tutorials which one must endure to learn how to play. The Bottom Line of mind behind me: Although consoles are already the best option for some gamers, particularly those looking for something easier and more affordable than the PC, I think it will be a while yet before the PC has any serious rivals when it comes to multiplayer online gaming. The next generation of consoles may offer more inter-connectivity, more cross-platform games, and may even have VGA monitor ports.. console games are more readily rented than PC games, and more easily returned to the retailer if you're not satisfied with them. Generally speaking, it is difficult to return PC games because they are easy to copy. Have an opinion on this subject? |

Aye - I am a PC gamer and a Console Gamer - But for PC gaming I participate in clans - I play bunhc of FPS games (play in CAL and TWL), I currently have my own guild for Guild Wars, Play World of Warcraft. I am currently working on a website www.deafpowergamers.net for Deaf Gamers supporting all platforms - from PC to XBOX to PS to GC. It is currently in the works, I am moving the site over to my other hosting company so hopefully within the next couple of weeks we'll have a site for Deaf Gamers. I am an avid gamer and am known IG as DefLord.

Games look better on PCs, if you build your own computer, you get the option to choose whatever you want your games to run on, take video cards for example. If you just bought a nVidia GeForce 7800GTX, and just plugged it into your computer, then everything would look almost like the XBOX 360, maybe better at times. And I find it easier to play FPS games on the computer, since I can make faster headshots with a point and shoot. I have to flick the joysticks on the PS2 or Xbox before shooting. anyways, i personally think that computers, if built right, can totally pwn consoles, accordingly to video cards and frame rates and processors and RAM/memory/hard drives (i use 2 but i used to have 4) On my computer, which also has a custom case, I play FEAR on it and it's totally mindblowing. So yeah, maybe the xbox 360 and computers are close to a tie, but ps2 and xbox.....please. *scoffs* and its not hard to know which button to press on a keyboard either...you program your own keyboard commands, and plus in FPS games its simple, i usually use the WASD keys, space for crouch, shift for jump, F for weapon switch (easier than the mouse wheel), and so on. theyre not across the board. only idiots would put them that far apart.

I agree with you. I also find it easier to play FPS games on the PC. I can aim and move better with the keyboard and mouse at the same time than with a controller on a video game console.

That means you had to pay $150-$200 for a copy of Windows Vista to play Halo 2. Does it sounds like Microsoft's evil plans to you? Please do more researching on Win Vista before make purchase. I heard dark rumors on Vista... But I'm rather waiting one or two years after Vista launched and Microsoft iron out hidden bugs, flaws, security holes, and PC Halo 2's price drop to $20.
