Simpsons & Futurama Stuff

For those of you who frequently watch The Simpsons and Futurama, you'll notice that the opening credit is different for each episode. Anyway, here's something I thought you might wonder about. There's a quick fraction-of-a-second message in both shows' opening credits.

In The Simpsons, Maggie is scanned through at check-out. How much does Maggie cost?

In Futurama, there is a guy holding a newspaper in those air chutes. What does the headlines of that newspaper say?

Other than that, I enjoy both shows. It's too bad that Futurama didn't last more than four seasons. I thought it was an enjoyable show.

I understand. Some people are like that. The reason why I liked Futurama was because it was more adult-themed. There were a lot of retro parodies as well as mature jokes. I'm one of the older generations so I understand a lot of their jokes. Heh!
