The Flash

For those of you who enjoyed the short-lived television series, "The Flash"... I've got good news for you! It's being released on DVD soon! Yep, all 22 episodes is going to be released on DVD! They will be including an episode of "The Flash" in the upcoming release of "Smallville: Season 4" DVD this September. I'm definitely getting this DVD!

Wow, I remeber watching the Flash on tv when I was a kid. I'll be sure to rent some of the DVDs. I don't like to buy TV series on DVD because I don't really watch them that much. Once is good enough for me most of the time, with some exceptions like HBO's Deadwood.

Sometimes, it's best to just buy it instead. Most places rent television series by volume. Most seasons consist of 4 to 6 DVDs and 3 to 4 episodes per DVD. Each DVD is usually considered a "volume". Lately, a lot of old television shows released on DVD were priced at under $30. I bought "Dukes of Hazzard" for $25 each. The 4th season consisted of 9 DVDs! Anyway, if these were to be rented at Blockbuster... I'd be spending $4 per DVD. That adds up to over $25! Let's not forget the tax that we have to pay... probably $30 total. So, if "The Flash" is released for under $30 and consists of 6 DVDs, you will probably be better off saving or spending a few bucks by buying it.

I remember that I've seen an 1980s Flash film a long time ago when I was a kid and to be honest, that movie was pretty much cheesy and crappy no offense.

So I heard Warner Bros. is already planning in development to make a justice league film with batman, superman, wonderwoman and the rest of the DC universe into one giant team film someday...so who knows?

I understand. But what I do is I rent it through Blockbuster.com. It's like netflix. Renting a TV series in-store is expensive, I know.
