LOL..Daisy.. wow i havent thought of her in years.. i wonder where she is now? i think i will check up on her online and see what she has been up to. haha.. i used to have a crush on her and always thought shes so beautiful!! heh.. jeez..... duhhh me.. hahaha..

What channel? When? I want to see it!
I remember seeing some of the reruns during 2000. They were captioned of course. One of my favorite episodes was where Uncle had to figure out a way to bring his own batch of moonshine to an out-of-town moonshine competition without Boss Hog stopping him! Any of you ever see the special that took place 20 years later? I hear they are coming out with a movie version... and Jessica Simpson is starring as Daisy Duke!

Here are a couple interesting facts about the people from the television show.
Ben Jones (aka Cooter Davenport) was a Georgia congressman from 1988 to 1992. John Schneider (aka Bo Duke) is currently starring as Clark Kent's father on Smallville.

Here's what I've found so far...
Dolly Parton is starring as Daisy Duke's mother. Paul Walker (The Fast and the Furious) and Ashton Kutcher (The Butterfly Effect) are starring as Bo and Luke. Anthony Anderson (Cradle 2 the Grave) is possibly starring as Boss Hogg. However, this might change due to his recent arrest for rape. Jessica Simpson is starring as Daisy Duke. It was rumored that Britney Spears would star instead, but I guess they changed at the last minute.

I don't think the so-called new movie will be any better than the real one with the characters.
I have met some of the actors who played some of the main characters on that show. Sorrell Brooke (Boss Hogg) was one of most nice man I've ever met, he even knew some manual fingerspells. He even commended my father for letting other fans get in front of us when she said she was late for work, etc. |
