Favourite long-haul country
1. New Zealand 96.8
2. Peru 94.2 3. Australia 94.0 4. Vietnam 93.8 5. South Africa 93.1 6. Thailand 92.9 7. Brazil 92.9 8. Argentina 92.7 9. Japan 91.9 10 Cuba 91.7 11 Chile 91.4 12 Sri Lanka 91.3 13 Morocco 90.9 14 Mauritius 90.8 15 Canada 90.7 16 China & Hong Kong 90.5 17 Singapore 88.7 18 Malaysia 88.0 19 India 87.1 20 Egypt 86.0 COPYRIGHT FROM THE OBSERVER/GUARDIAN NEWSPAPER. I believe New Zealand came on top because of the Lord of the Rings as it was made there? Australia came 3rd which is great but I am surprised about Peru? Perhaps I will book a holiday to see Peru one day????? Vietnam is interesting exotic place and very cheap holiday as I watch it on TV not long ago. Nothing about America, fancy Britons are not keen to go????

*sigh* As an American, I'm not too surprised because a lot of the historic sites across the USA are too commercialised and touristy whilst other countries have gone to extremes to keep it excatly the way it was and retain the history within it.
