The hotel and plans locally in the U.S is currently on hold, I am planning my interstate holiday at the moment, once this has been done and over with, will resume to my overseas planning and get the hotels booked and all. So wont be much of a news in this thread right now, -----so to speak, too early to say.

Hmm...you must visit the great state of Texas, a state that was once a country for 9 years with the rich of histories and cultures! You also must try to eat the famous Texas BBQ and take the cowboy hat with you to Australia!

Naw, hope you'll have a great time in DC and NYC.

Accordingly to my plans of my U.S.A trip, if my plans of the solution due to my car accident last week, goes well. I have to scariface this trip until further notice. Which means, if this happens, I wont be able to travel to U.S.A until later in the year 2010. Just that I need a new car. I must truthfully apologise to all of you, AD'ers who were ulitmately looking forward to meet me in person when I am in the country --- but I can promise you all it will happen sooner than later.

Damn Clarke. Too bad you will be in Oregon. I would be in Seattle in a heartbeat to meet up with you.

I hope you will enjoy your stay in America. Hopefully I will make my way to the northeast someday as well... unless you can sneak me in a luggage? I will try hard to lose weight to fit in!

That's true, but I feel it is not appropriate to be welcomed by a stranger like myself, it is more better this way if I stayed in a hotel and meet my new friends in a proper way, dont you think?

Jake, you should visit at Seattle in one day to meet some ADers. Seattle is beautiful city and waterfront. may stay hotel overnight and fly from Seattle to DC. Cheaper airfare in Seattle than Portland. You may ride on AD friend to go to seattle or ride Amtrak train.

Yes. I love the west coast.

Haven't regretted my move to Victoria, BC yet. Not to mention it's a ferry hop away from Vancouver and Seattle.

Yes, I had been visited at Victoria BC in few times. Victoria remains the most British of cities in North America. Many houses were English style while riding double deck tour bus.

Yep, it haven't changed since I last visited when I was like 7 or 8. Scary. One question, how easy is it to get around in Seattle? This blind patron needs to know.

Found a hotel in Portland, it is better than nothing and in the decision to confirm one hotel in NYC.... and in the stages to find a cheap overnight stay in LAX before I head back home.

Just need to get these hotel arrangements out of the way so I can save all the money for the spend while I am in the country! It is mandatory that my presence is required in the U.S so that is even good news.

This trip is now.....a little bit over two months away!
