I'd say Boston is good for 1 day. It's a college city. Might wanna visit Boston University, MIT, Harvard, and... uh.... lol I dunno.

Maybe it's best if you head straight to RIT and then Niagara Falls from NYC and then fly home from Buffalo, NY.
maybe I'll just stick to Washington D.C and New York for now? For these people from alldeaf.com who wants to meet me have to find their time to meet me at the specific place if you are keen to meet!

Well, cant I just experience the USA winter then?

there's first time for everything! why not? beside - you planned on staying here for 2 weeks. 2 weeks is a long time and you'll get bored pretty fast. Pocono is fun.

Hey Shel, it doesn't matter if I miss the DPHH, is there a option to contact a deaf society in the local area to see if there is an special occasion that people could meet again just for this reason? Like I email them and would love to meet some deafies and they let people know and they could deicde and meet for drinks, learn from my culture etc? But I'd like to go to that DPHH in balitmore, but highly likely I would be staying at my mum's friend's house in west virigina (i think, not sure)

I am not sure Jiro, I will have to contact them via email and find out, then I can plan out, but dont care if I have to travel far away to DC, I would like to visit DC again, it is a beautiful place to visit yet I know that is a little dangerous but who cares? There is plenty of deafies I know lives there for example Authentic. And I would like to see what have changed there since I was there back in 1999

The border is only about 2 to 3 hours..so it all depends where WV Jake will be staying at.

*Pouts* Aw Jake.... too bad you won't be visiting Northwesterns! But hey... that's cool that you're gonna be visiting Eastern of United States. Too bad I can't fly over to New York to see ya! Hmm.... New York City, Washington DC and Boston are popular areas to visit.

My older sister lives in Portland Oregon near Vancouver WA. Lots of mountains are beautiful in Northwest. I will plan to visit her place this year or next year.

I think it would be fair for me and my friends in the USA, if I visit Washington D.C, New York and Portland, Oregon (state in the north west)

you can stop at Portland or Seattle from Sydney and stay in few days then fly to BWI (Baltimore) or DC and return home from LAX or SFO. but you feel to choose any cities.

That's more agreeable, I have few friends in Oregon so it is nice to stop by there on the way to Washington D.C -- dont reallty want to spend one week in the D.C so i think that would be enough for three cities I could visit but a little bit extra $$$ for domestic flight to Oregon from LAX, (San Francisco is a little expensive)

subway??? from DC to WV? I doubt they have subway. You mean train?

just so you know - subway is the train underground/underwater. train is on-surface. subway is usually commonly found in major cities only.
