Question Have anyone been to Texas?

Jeremy and I am going to plan our vacation in Texas next summer in July 2004 for a week. My dad is going to take care of my baby for a week. So.. what's it like there and what cities should we go to? Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

Go to San Antonio at downtown. It's most beautiful and full of historic. Lot of thing to doing in there.

Ummm, I went to Austin (ofc it is captol and TSD) Waco, too (fame David Koresh's cult burn down) Ummm, Beaumont.... Why not South Padre Island? Because of beautiful BLUE OCEAN and u can feed seagils, see dolphins real life during you are in boat. OFC you might see Swordfish real life.... Ummm That is all I am thinking of.

Check out Dallas, TX. There's a shitload of things you can do. Near where I live, there's over 20 restaurants within the 5-mile stretch of the highway!

You are talk about Beltline Blvd and Midway Rd. (north of Dallas area) Larger choice restaurants. And also, it's one of dangerous intersections.

My friends go for their honeymoon and told me about it. Others told me in Spring Break, too. I did not go there yet.

Austin is the captial of Texas. Some people consider Austin as City of Music. Famous nude park is near Austin. Name is Hippies Hollow. Check it out around Univ of Texas at Austin. There are tons of shops. (some are odd there).
One hour between Austin and San Antonio. Not that bad. In my opinion, San Antoinio is awesome city. THere are Riverwalk, the Alamo, Sea World, Six Flags over Fiesta, and some events related to hispanic.
About Dallas, there are plenty of shopping and adventure. I am not really familiar with Dallas and Fort Worth myself.
About Houston, too many sport events there. tons of shopping. have Six Flags over Astroworld. Not far away from Galveston Island that where Houston people go to various of beaches there. NASA is near Houston.
About July 2004, maybe check it out on Tour Guide. To find out where and when for different festivals in Texas. Ofc, I won't forgot March is Texas' birthday.
For your information, not easy to find casino in Texas. Cuz of politc conflcts.

Fort Worth is much different than Dallas. Fort Worth are into heavy Cowboy stuff. Rodeo, texas resturants, steak steak!

your right weido, I have been to all major cities in Texas in fact am from Texas. Mizzdeaf know me

If you want to go to south padre island during spring or summer break here advice RESERVE the hotel room EARLY. The hotel rooms get FULL by the time breaks get here believe me! it popular down there during those breaks.

San Antiono and Austin is probably best for tours. Dallas is allright but not lot of tours to see. .

SWCID is in Big Spring. It's 55 miles west to Odessa.

Midland, TX is the largest finacial in the nationwide. Also, it's only large skyscrape in the west Texas.

Did you know we have ONLY 100% Organic Shrimp in nationwide that grow in west Texas?
http://www.permianseashrimp.com/

If you visit there, you will eat free sample of fried shrimp. :yum:

Yes, I have been to Texas since I was a baby! Usually to Houston and Killen.

Houston and Harris County, Texas are definitely worth your times to visit! Dallas is a pretty place to visit, but I like Houston best of all!
