Deaf Cruise Hawaii 2009 Prices confusions

I am really confused about the prices of deafcruise Hawaii 2009

I did some research and found out that if I purchase the ticket through Travelocity and the price for cablin with balcony is only 1200 per person!

Deafcruise is charging 2500 per person for same cabin!!!

Deafcruise - 5000 dollars for 2 person
Travelocity - 2500 for 2 person

Why is the price 100 percent more with deafcruise??

If anyone know why, can someone please clarify reason why

Thanks

The Deaf Cruise is probably offering you other things during your trip that will be paid for in the cost. (really the stuff isnt free because it costs more) If that stuff is important to you then get it =)

Here it is: If you book with them you get this included:

That $469 still doesn't come to the difference.

thats not the cheapest room for Deaf cruise you can get one for just over 2000 for 2 people. the next level in room with a ocean view and balcony is more expensive on Deaf Cruise that is the one for 5k.

I strongly suspect it has to do with gratuity (Tips) that is included in deaf cruise because most of the time Deafies FAILS to give gratituty and that is BAD! So to reduce embarassement, deafcruise may have add that.

Normally Cruise crew EXPECTS gratudity, that is why the normal fare is cheaper if customer throws in tips.

Sorry to disagree with you about tipping. It's not deaf cruise's position to tip, what if the service was horrible and we tip them for 2,500?? NO WAY! I rather give them NOTHING if they don't give good service, it's basically at our discreetion on how much to tip according to the quality of service we would receive.

Probably they need money for interpreter. Interpreter is not cheap.

My family and I went to Carnival cruise to Virgin Islands and cost only $4k for 4 persons and nice for one week. We have great time!

I plan go to Carnival again with my wife.

Deafcruise usual throws in bonus that's why the prices are high.

That's why I dont go on Deafcruises...cant afford this shit.

Maybe email the deaf community to plan a trip on a cruise at the lower rates but one con would be no terps.

It's not their faults. The oil/gas prices go up. That's why they have to increase everything. Again, it's NOT their faults.
