Question Interpreters in Tourism?

Since I started attending an Interpreting program, I have wondered where exactly I would like to interpret. I currently work at a tourist location and I became curious if other tourism locations offered Interpreters. I am in Florida so there is no shortage of travel locations however there definitely seems to be a need for Interpreters in the field. Is anyone interested in sharing an experience(good or bad) of being on vacation and needing an interpreter?
