I've been thinking....
...for a while -- and It might appear sound crazy but what the hell. I always have been wondered since I returned home from my two week trip to the United States of America in 1999, which is nearly ten long years ago and ever since, I always wanted to return to explore outside my boundaries, if you understand what I am talking about.
I have mentioned I would want to go there in 2009, but it seems so impossible for me to do, but you all may tell that I am quite determined, to get out of Australia for a bit, I have been considered to think I should chill in United States of America to experience the different surroundaries (sp?) even though I have been practising my ASL skills every day, and these skills has been useful whenever I talk to my AD'ers on VP, but things are keeping me back down here... ...money is the issue and it is quite impossible but I doubt that I wouldn't mind to disappear for two weeks in the states to meet my friends there (including the AD'ers) and travel around a bit, but I will most definitely would want to do a 3 months travelling around the states, such I would lile to see all 50 states ...I would like to see if my perspective and suggestions from you all, but the question is would this all be worth it, in the end? (I think it would)

Travelling all over USA would be a good adventure for you. There is so much to see in USA that even if you have travelled there for three months, you will still not have seen everything yet. You're fortunate that you do have that option to travel for that long period of time. Most people cannot leave work for that long. Grab that opportunity and enjoy your travelling

You could look up for summer deaf camp and work there for a bit of summer that way you can earn some money and able to travel around in USA.
Other option is IEP: Work USA - IEP Australia - US Working Holidays for Australians Traveling around USA would be good experiences for you.

Just make sure you are not travelling during a bad time -- when bad weather happens in some places. Hurricane season usually lasts throughout late summer until fall in Florida and in some states too. Best time to come is spring to early summer, IMO. Unless you don't mind coming during the winter months.. which is like your summer months in Australia, right?

You should make sure you could get a leave of absence from your job. It would be bad to be unemployed when you go back.
Otherwise I do think it would be a great adventure. I hope I get to meet you if you really do the whole 50 states.
