Giving a theme party... luau
This probably fits in this topic of Leisure and it has something to do with a destination theme, too!
Guess what? No, guess again. Aww, I'll just tell you anyway! Since it's nearly dying around here in my area of Norway and I do live in a small town, I have decided to get a luau party started here. A little Hawaiian touch here and there! Tiki and limbo time. Mambo, mambo... It's just a question of when! Maybe this year, maybe next year.... I'll just take up this suggestion to some community committees around here. Has anybody ever been to a luau? If so, what did you like about it? What didn't you like about it? Do you have ideas or some improvements for the next luau party?

Aww Javachickie - yeah, you'll hafta hook up with the deafies in Hawaii! Did you go to that deaf festival yet? I might visit my mother in Honolulu next year, and if I have a little money left we can do some island skipping for the Big Isle where you are.
((((E)))) Thank you very much for the URLs - I bookmarked them! LOL coconut bras - that would be hilarious. I love POI, and miss that!

Decided I'd do a luau party for my wedding anniversary (hitting the one year mark this October, and it's kinda a big deal for the family and natives here). If I can't go to Hawaii, I might as well as bring Hawaii to me.
