Thank for remind me ![]() And of course you won't be stuck in Vancouver, and the green bridge is not the only way to get to Portland, there's also another bridge at east Vancouver, which are on I-205 heading to the Portland Airport. Their traffic are usually better than the I-5, but I-5 have better access to the downtown Portland. And about the taxes, yupp, Portland don't have sale tax, and that's famous reason why people live in Vancouver, Washington so they can take advantage of Oregon's lack of sale tax, and take advantage of Washington's low taxes on the properties. About 100,000 average cars across both of those bridges daily. It's kinda odd because I live in Vancouver and doesn't go to Portland that often, only go there for friends that's all. I shop mostly in Vancouver, it's just that the taxes doesn't hurt me at all. If you want something really fun, I recommend Portland mostly. Vancouver is just a Portland's suburbs, there is not much stuff to see in Vancouver except for the Fort Vancouver Historic Reserve. If you want be around Vancouver, I recommend to go Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver, it's nice there, also of course Fort Vancouver. That's all I can think of something you have to see in Vancouver, but Portland have much much more activities than Vancouver, and I recommend you be in Portland more, you will have more fun there. If you have any questions, feel free to ask ![]()
