cheapest flight ticket

In Europe, there is a website called RyanAir they do sell cheap tickets, like for example from London to Stockholm for $20 one-way ticket in Europe compares to Chicago to New York for $200 one way ticket in America.

Do you know any cheapest flight tickets for United States only?
I use Cheapoair all the times, because they do sell reasonable prices. I tried Orbitz, disliked it, because they do sell crazy prices. I don't like southwest at all, because it is non-reservation seat. Please post any cheapest flight website only if you know any?

Yeah, have heard of RyanAir. Sure, they're cheap but comes with more limitation on baggage and such than any other airlines.

And, I don't think RyanAir has such a glowing reputation.

Umm, I dunno if expedia.com is cheap enough for you. But go directly to airline's websites and you might be able to score a cheap ticket.

Another tip is it's cheaper to fly more stops than go straight to your destination without any stops. So let's say you're flying to London and before reaching London, there's a stop in Amsterdam or something then it's better to stay overnight or two and then fly on to London. Takes longer to get to London, sure, but save some money on airfare.

Hey oddball, you can get a flight for $154 round trip if you go to Wilke Barre, PA and fly to Sacramento, CA. Newark to SFO is $255 round trip. Better luck next time.

Cool! I use that sometimes when I plan to fly somewhere. Sometimes I go to their airline websites, they sometimes have good fares. I just know where to look.

Ditto.

I've always used Expedia.

I've had other friends recommend other sites, but I've never found anything easier than Expedia.

One time, a friend recommended a website that researches flights differently. Instead of finding the cheapest ticket from one airline, it finds cheapest tickets from multiple airlines. What I mean by this is... suppose I'm flying from New York to Texas and there's a stop in Georgia; the site will find something that's cheaper for a flight from NY to GA and GA to NY, then a flight from GA to TX and TX to GA; both airlines are different, that's the only way the site could find cheapest tickets. However, the problem is that if there's a flight cancellation or delay for the flight from NY to GA, the other airline won't help out because they're a different company.

Wilke Barre is few hours away from my home. I will not drive all way to WB. My friend lives in Modesto. Closest one is SF, SJ, and Oakland. I just found the lowest fare...that's what I chose SF over SJ and Oakland.

Well, I bought it one month advance. If want to buy tickets in several months advance, then the cost will be cheaper.

I know that place is far away but it's cheaper by far. Flying from Newark to SFO, Oakland or San Jose is about the same price...if I fly to California, I usually go to Oakland because it's generally cheaper than SFO. Now they got non stop flight service from Seattle to Santa Rosa, I don't need those airports at all.

There are some things in life, sometimes, where money is not so much of importance. Oddball did the best she could, given her situation so it's not a problem for her.

Yeah I know it isn't a problem to her. I would be more than happy to save people money if they ask me for help.

I agree and I hope you continue to do so because oftentimes, your "finds" fit with folks' agenda. Just don't advise me to go 27 miles out of my way to get gas for 2 cents cheaper than the one near my house.

Ha ha, very funny! I'm not advising anyone to drive far for that gas. Flight from Seattle to Santa Rosa costs more but the airport is only a few miles to my relatives home. That saves them a trip going 120 miles round trip to pick me up.

A coast to coast flight usually runs between $300 to $600 depending on the dates and how soon you make the reservation for a ticket. Once in a while, if you're lucky enough, you just might be able to get a ticket for $250 or around that.

I've flew from here to California a lot of times, so it isn't that bad. The lowest price I ever had was at $230 for a flight from Louisville, KY to SFO.

I usually look at Cheap Flights, Airline Tickets, Cheap Airfare & Discount Travel Deals - Kayak.com. I don't buy it from there because kayak.com is a 'search' engine that searches for cheapest flights from different websites.

However, If I were to buy a ticket, I'd get it from CheapTickets: Cheap Flights, Event Tickets, Hotels, Rental Cars, Vacations, Cruises, Concert Tickets, Sports Tickets. Most of the time, cheaptickets.com has reasonable prices and flexible dates. You might want to try that one as well.

Golly, does that mean, cheap food, cheap seats, cheap pilots ( umm...)....

Nev'a mind me folks, I just had to bring it up--

As for myself, I've used Expedia and have gotten good results from using it...as for others, it'll work for some and won't work for others. The key is do your 'search' and hopefully you'll come up with a good reasonable pricing plan to go by.

If everything was cheap, I don't think the quality would come in play, ha. But then, Yeah, sometime you gotta make a good bargain to get what you need.

Right. Precisely. However, if it's 'cheap' pilots, I'll pass and take a train.
