My husband and I are! And if we get jobs before then we are also thinking about going on the Costa Maya cruise in 2008!

It also depends on my son in 2008. But by 2009, he should be able to go with us for sure then.

So wait and see for the Costa Maya one! Hubby and I discussed finances and paying everything we owe off at a fast pace, so that we can start saving up at a fast pace for the cruises and such that we want to do.

I really cannot promise that I CAN go Hawaii Cruise since I have a family, I take care of. 4 persons cost a lot of money... I donīt think teenagers would be interesting to go cruise...

I rather wait until my boys are out of school and get their job first then consider my plan...

Thanks for the advice. But I've been doing this for years when it comes to saving up for travels.

Would love to go but money goes to the children, house and other stuff first. Maybe in a few years when things are better financially.

I've always wanted to go to Hawaii, but unfortunately our children come first and we can not afford to take all of our six children on a cruise...I rather to take our children on a nice vacation that won't cost so much...I'm with Liebling on this, our children comes first than ourselves..

Im going on the Hawaii 2009 cruise being arranged by Passages Deaf Travel ~ I was very impressed by the work they did and all the details worked out with Royal Caribbean, that Mizzou and I are going with Tab, Mac and PDT again. I will be sending in our application and deposits tomorrow.

You can check them out on their website ~ they will be updating the information soon.

And great news ~ they will be planning another all-deaf cruise again in 2010!!!!

I am not sure which year 2009 or 2010 that you both will go to Europe... ? I didnīt forget that we talk about your plan to Europe as GA as well? Come to us in Germany first before go to Europe?

That would be pride of Aloha or Hawaii. You can look at NCL - Pride of Aloha for specific specs and floor plans. NCL do cruise start from Hawaii. Not from Mainland; california or washington state. Many of deaf preferred to fly in hawaii and spend a couple of days around in Waikiki area, then hop in cruise. You don't have to sail from los angeles to hawaii for 4 days.

I'd rather sail from California to Hawaii - I could use those days at sea!!! It would be a nice time to recharge my batteries and rest up for those days on the islands...
