KUDOS to Kentucky!!

ran256 and I just returned from a short vacation today...

I have to give Kentucky big Kudos!!

We do not ususally stop at Welcome Center type rest stops - too touristy - but today we exited the tunnel from Tennessee and stopped at the Kentucky Welcome Center on the 25E and were pleasantly surprised.

The restrooms and buildings were extremely clean. The workers extremely kind and helpful. And after entering the little museum and theatre area, where a film was shown about the settling of the area, we sat down to relax a minute and enjoy the film - it was open captioned and very well done. There was also equipment and such for Blind and DB available. What a relaxing experience. Since ran256 is HOH we are always leary of films, programs, etc.

Anyway - its a TwoThumbsUp for Kentucky!!
