Hi, sorry for long delay!!
Here is the link for Melbourne weather, remember Autumn is with us, and I am wearing short, T-shirt and Flip flop most of times! I remember when I lived in England's Autumn, it was wet windy and cold. I copy and paste my weather broadcast letter for you to see below..... Here's your weather forecast for Melbourne for the next few days. Friday Fog then sunny 11°C - 25°C Saturday Showers 13°C - 26°C Sunday Mostly sunny 14°C - 23°C Monday Mostly sunny 11°C - 22°C Tuesday Mostly sunny 12°C - 25°C Wednesday Mostly cloudy 13°C - 26°C Thursday Mostly sunny 12°C - 26°C Melbourne is well known for having 4 seasons all in one day, and it is unpreditable what the next day will be like. Drought is still with us as we don't have many good raining for such a long time. We only wearing woollen jumper in winter, as gloves, scarf and heavy coat is unnecessary because the winter is very mild. If you want to see hot weather all year round, it is at Ayer Rock and Queensland for you. Melbourne's Autumn is more or less the same as your British's summer !!

Blueboy,
Any place is a great place in Australia to visit. There's a lot to see here. It all depends on what you are looking for here. Are you looking for where the most deaf Australian people are living? What type of work are you looking for? Do you want to work in city area or regional (like a large rural country town) area? From what I know, you can find bigger numbers of deaf people in the main cities, there are different deaf clubs and groups. Hope this helps. Kangaroo

LIke Kangaroo said, I am from the country City of Canberra, - it has a small group of the deaf community (- at the least, not counting HOH) but Sydney and melbourne got plenty. If you want 300 days of sunshine per year, Goldcoast or Brisbane is the one for you!
