Is it worth the money going First Class on a plane?

If you are under 21, no. If you are over 21, maybe. I don't care much for first class. The only thing different is that they serve food and have bigger comfortable seats in first class. I hate airline food plus I can sleep in the regular chairs easily.

Really, I do not think it is much of a difference. Just a bit more comfortable. If you take trains and go in first class, it is really not much of a difference, and just more expensive.

Sometimes if you are lucky, you can ask for a free upgrade to first class. I was lucky once, when I was soooooo late arriving at the airport in Paris, 5 minutes before departure!!! My friend rushed to first class agent and said, is it possible for them to get on plane, even though it departs in 5 minutes. She phoned ahead, and we made it! But... they gave our seats away. Two business class passengers never showed up, so we got these seats! that was awesome! Full meal, very delicious with wine and chocolate... oh la la la!

But of course, I would never pocket over extra for business class. Only exception would be, to fly in the Concorde, but of course, they dont fly Concorde anymore

Wow very nice!! I havent been in First Class yet. Hehehe
I reckon it's good to do once in a while.

Haha! Good idea about having it when one is over 21!
I do know that airlines serve you alcohol (like beer and maybe even wine) for free in the economy class, too. That totally helps take off the stress of being in a LOOOONG plane trip.... speaking of which, I will be flying to USA from Norway in a couple weeks! eeeee!

First Class usually rich people who can afford for something nice treat for themselves by work hard and need nice comfortable in the tiny airplane.

The beyond than 1st Class is in private airplane. I have been on there ONCE. It's n-i-c-e. Well, that was my uncle's.

Although, I've never flown First Class, I'd love to one day soon! I have flown economy all the time. Twice overseas and countless of times within California (I was a Transportation Aide for my alumni school and escorted school aged kids from Oakland airport to Reno, Nevada every Fridays and Sundays.)

When I went overseas, I was given free alcoholic beverages for the duration of the trip each way. (From California, USA to Melbourne, Australia and vice versa as well)
