I think it is a good idea about micro chipping for animals since they are so famous escaping their yards or house, escapee artists.

I am not sure about on kids or adults. but it would be nice to identify bodies if someone comes across. like bones in woods and can not identify.. unless they find a microchip to save all the trouble with autospies, etc... hmmm that is gonna be a good debate abt that.

Don't laugh, Banjo. Some of those marbles were freaking catseyes.
NOW what do I do, tear up the floor to look for them?

It's the cats, really, bullymom. They sure do not appreciate their eyes being used, and as for using dogs, whoaaababy. It is bad enough there are catseyes marbles as oposed to humaneyes marbles, say, or fleaeye marbles, they got all kinds.
It makes me nervous when Banjo is trying to be smart.
NASA better watch out or marbles might go to the moon, dang, ya never know.
Grrrr, Banjo, enough with the damn marbles already.
I am getting hives.

Implanting microchip is good for animals because they can't speak in spoken English and even signing in ASL. That's why. Implanting on human is only at individual's own personal, private, preference decision. As for me, I don't need it unless Askjo yanks my arm and place a gun on my head.

Well, Askjo... Please quit being so paranoid. Calm down. You have been watching man-made Hollywood sci-fi/religious movies too much! Just be yourself and enjoy the marvelous wonders of engineering, invention, science and of course, please don't forget to take the beauty stroll along the Mother's Nature in the outback country.

That's part of what God would want you to do. Enjoy your life on Earth at the very best as much as you can before you go down to the grave.

Tamara...

From my experienced... the average of found for cats.. 4-48 days..

why it takes so long.. for example if its you.. found cat outside.. took in and take care for while and look for ownership or.. decided its yours because the cat is so beauitful and friendly.. in around 30 days later, you feel that cat needs to be checked with vet to have vaccianted... By the time, the vet will scan the cat.. to check.. "beep beep" ahh..

so by the time you will get the call in around 4days to 3 months....Or.. its been while for you like more than 2 days, I would start looking on ditches or side of roads.. just in case.. if the cat have been hit by car.. so you know either missing or killed..

Good Luck and wish you the best.. I know its hard.. to losing the pet..

Then you are supporting the Satan worshippers by using their computers. By using the computers, you are supporting their businesses.

Thank you MsGiglz, My Birman Seal-point cat is still missing to this day since I made this thread ages ago, and excuse me for say this, I hope she will injury or ill, the increase chance her kidnapper owner will take her to the vet anywhere and I will be happy to collect her again soon or later.

I am thinking of buying another Birman Kitten soon, as my girls still pined for her. I am thinking of spending AUS$350-$400 for a female birman without paper as a pet, or AUS$900 for a breeder kitten. The Breeder recommend me to buy three Birman female kittens and one male kitten to satisfy the male kitten as it will help to reduce the noisy they make!!! I don't know which one should I follow as I haven't make a final decision yet................still thinking about.......................!

Why not go to the animal shelter and buy one? It will cost cheaper, and it will give a good home to a kitty instead of putting it to sleep. You can actually find Burmese, Siamese, and Oriental kitties at the shelters, or thru rescue groups.

Yikes, that sounds like the breeder just wants to sell a lot of kittens! I never heard of such a suggestion! Just buy one kitty and have it spayed or neutered. If you just want a pet, and you are not a professional breeder or show person, then there is no reason to not neuter the cat.

Yes, Reba, I was surprised to received Breeder's reply for you to read!

Quote:
This kitten is a pet quality as he is slightly marked on his front foot. So he would be desexed when you buy him. this would be around $400 to buy (desexed). He is ready to go within 2 weeks.
To buy a breeder quality birman you are looking at $800plus.
To buy an adult breeder would be a similar amount and if she is a champion a lot more.
I dont know if your inAustralia or not but if you are then the control councils to give you the rules are the Feline Control Council
