...deep down inside, he is a disgusting person. I believe he is greedy, selfish, and full of hate.
If someone said that about President Obama, would that be a racist statement?
Haha, Reba; speaking of racism, the word does not carry nearly the same impact it once did because too many people have trigger-fingered to pull out the race card, have cried wolf way too many times...... |

You can compare Bush to a monkey because he's white. You can't compare Obama to a monkey because it carries the horrible connotation that African Americans are "jungle monkeys." Get the difference?

I guess if Bush had a Learning Disability, and they painted him a picture of a monkey (because they think he has a brain of a monkey) , it would be insult to all people who have a LD, right?

I never hated him, and he did seem able to "take it." He doesn't publicly criticize past presidents or the current President.
I agreed with the way he handled many things, and I also disagreed with the way he handled many things. We'll probably never know how many attacks after 9/11 were thwarted because of his decisions. |

Agreed with the picture. I think he did try his best. He didn't care about popularity on him, and he wanted to keep country safe. Now, I think there were no terrorists in the America soil since September 11, 2001 to January 20, 2009. I remember some members on Internet did say they felt so safe when Bush was a president.
Do I hate him? No, not at all. |

You know, it's funny how we are at the point where we say we hate Bush and the likes of that. I'm sure EVERY presidents has had his own flaws to begin with.
Bush may have thought he was doing the right thing as per interest in protecting this country. He may have done some complimentary actions just as others has done. But, Does that make it wrong? Maybe yes. Maybe not. There are a lot of things that I don't condone of what Bush has done but it does not mean that I would hate him for his decision. Just as much as Obama is doing, Obama is trying to think of the right thing to do in order to bring vitality for everyone. Hence, we may agree or disagree on many things. The bottom line is, Not Bush can make everyone happy. Obama can't make everyone happy too. We all can't make everyone happy either.

I never really paid any attention to Bush. I means the only thing I got against him is the fact he didn't respect Iraq's sovereignty. He made the right call regarding Afghanistan though.
Other than that, he did what he thought was right, and not everyone will agree with everything. It's not like he is the worst president in the history of the United States. Besides everyone knows that administrative staff has more power over the nation and her people than the President himself.

Those pics are funny. The point, I think, is that Bush is not a black person. It's just not credible to depict Bush as a witchdoctor. The stereotype of the primitive, ignorant black witch doctor applies to black people. It doesn't apply to white people. It doesn't have the same connotation. Sure, it's tacky and in poor taste but it's not a credible attack on Bush's race.
It's like sexism. When a man makes a stereotypical comment about hysterical, shrill women who drive poorly, that's sexism. Say the same thing about a man and it's not the same. Men haven't been traditionally dismissed as hysterical, incompetent people. Does that make sense?

I'm not going to say I liked the man, but I also didn't hate him. I never had to worry about him because I'm not American. I think Americans could have done better, because Lord knows Bush just got into office because his daddy was once the president as well.
As for the "dark knight" stuff? :bsflag: |
