Question You feel best interest for your child involved sports or child pick their own sport.?

I noticed some parents who forced their child involved sport which their child doesn't interest. Parents really mad their child. I felt sorry the child really quite not want to play this sport.

I do not like this. I like let my child can have rights their choice to play sport.
My little son loved to play ice hockey. His choice.
My Daughter loved to play volleyball and Basketball. Her choice.
My older son loved to play track field, but condiser to take snowboarding course. Looks like he not really crazy play sports after school. I try my best encourged him to play sports keep his health althelte. I do not want force him as long he feel ready to play sports.

Do you feel right thing to pressure your child to play sports or your child prefer pick their own sport. ?

I was not forced from my parents, I love to play baseball followed by my dad's footprint. I love sport lot.....

Yes I agree with you about wrongful to forced child to play what their parents want them to be. It is child's decide, not their.

For myself, when they are younger, I'd encourage them to try out a various kind of sports until they chose their favorite ones. You are right, parents cannot force their kids to play a certain sport. Our kids are their own persons and they have a right to choose what they like to do.

I would have my children choose the sports they want to join... If it only for one year and change their mind to another sports I wouldnt care.. and still go to their games...

Yes!! As long as they keep busy. If they keep doing positive activites then they are less likely to get in trouble!!

I would let my children pick the sport they want to play.. It's up to them.. let them experience which sport they like best, even if they picked a sport that I wouldn't like them to play.. It's their choice, and I'd allow them. I wasn't allowed to play of my own choice.. so I don't want my kids to grow up not able to make their own choices of which sport.
