Enjoy these pictures of John McCain, especially the second post where John McCain endorses the diapers of "Depends".

*shakes head*
hopefully a bunch of political cartoons, poorly photoshopped and unfunny jokes, and out-of-context pictures that have already been explained at length, combined with an obvious display of a deep-seated fear of women in power, blacks, and the muslim faith won't convince anyone of anything. also, none of your pictures have anything to do with greed. |

![]() ironically, i agree with you. anyone who's made it this far in a presidential race has only gotten there by being a ruthless, relentless asshole that will stomp on anyone who threatens their ambitions. This includes Obama, Clinton, McCain, and the other candidates that dropped out some months ago. the primary motivation for someone to be President is insatiable hunger for power. greed for money is not very applicable for these people. they're all already millionaires, and Congress wouldn't let them pass any "$100 billion bonus for the president" emergency act or anything. like having children, being president is all about your legacy, instilling your values in people and trying to protect what you think are your or the nation's best interests, as deranged as those decisions may sometimes be. judging by your pictures and comments, you're one of the hundreds of millions of "average americans", who gets most of their political "news" (which is mostly rumors rampant with unchecked facts) from chain emails from friends with similar political beliefs. you seem to believe Obama is a Muslim. 1. this is not true. 2. if it were, so what? you've clearly never opened a Koran or done independent research to try to understand these people. you've made up your mind that Muslims hate your way of life and reciprocate in kind. you understand nothing of Islam and equate all Muslims with terrorists. you judge people by their names, and i shouldn't have to lecture you on how unbelievably superficial and ridiculous this is. yeah, his first name rhymes with "Iraq", his middle name is "Hussein" and his last name is one letter away from "Osama". a lesson in Muslim names: the Muslim world is generally very uncreative with names. there are only a few names that they basically give to everyone, and then they have to make the next generations' names longer and longer to keep them unique. hence, why most Muslims have at least 4 names. also, "Hussein" is so common that it's equivalent to the Western "Smith". in some other universe, you might convince me of something by simply telling me "this is what i think, and you must agree with me. if you don't, you're WRONG!" but not in this one. |

Millions of people are blind to evil and of course evil has to be popular in order to win.
Evil is all among us. It's not who they are, what they claim to be, or what they promise. It's all about the heart and soul of the American race and I do not see it in either one of them. Think about the future. Follow your heart. Vote McCain. |

this argument is extremely generalized and non-factually-based. also, there is no "American race". but if there were, it seems that your definition of one is "white, male, Southern, conservative". i shouldn't have to point out how this is a problem for about 200,000,000 Americans. it's a little bit insulting to tell me to "Follow my heart" and that i should "vote McCain". your heart is not my heart; there is no universal set of good values. i hope you don't make all your decisions based on your first impressions. i don't know if you got the news. Hillary's out. |

Well, it's about time someone interesting like Obama came on the American political stage. He seems a breath of fresh air! I know in the UK and Australia people actually got very interested in this campaign just past because of him.
I can't believe in a country of 300m+ people that there a father and son and a husband and wife get voted in (or close to) as party leaders or presidents. Seems very incestuous to me.

No, I didn't I was working over time putting in a lot of hours at work, so I haven't been able to catch on with the news. I guess I'm not going to vote this year, I do not like either, McCain or Obama.

it's not just on the national level either. "governmental incest" is the worst at the city and state level, where the only thing that counts is name recognition. my area is represented by a husband and wife team and a recent election for State Assembly was won by a landslide by the son of a former Congressman. people just show up to vote, see a name they recognize and check the box. |

both the electoral college and the delegate system for Democratic primaries were created by the government because they did not trust the American people to democratically elect their leaders with a straight popular vote.
they had to assign "electoral votes" to the states to give the government more power over the election. suppose some hot shot new radical takes the whole Midwest by storm, and 60,000,000 people in 9 states voted for him. the government doesn't want someone coming in and shaking up their system. theoretically, he could win the popular vote and only have like 90 electoral votes, and some other candidate who only got 55,000,000 votes in 30 states would win because he had more electoral votes. we've had 2 or 3 elections where the winner of the popular vote lost the election. most recently in 2000. and there's the matter of "weighted votes". states are assigned electoral votes based on population, but there's still a huge difference in the value of each vote. voters in a state with a tiny population, like Wisconsin, are worth like 4 times as much as votes from California. if you live in a heavily Democratic or Republican state and you do not belong to the majority party in that state, your vote in a presidential election is worthless. my parents are Republicans and living in CA, and they still go out and vote for their Republican every election even though CA's electoral votes will go to the Democratic nominee because of CA's slight Democratic majority. it's a lot worse in many states. move to Texas and vote for a Democrat every 4 years for the rest of your life, your votes will never count for a thing. |

darn.
i thought the fact that millions of Americans will not have a voice in the upcoming election would encourage you to abstain from voting, like myself, until the government can pull its head out of its ass and make voting equal. |
