Blog Extras
When is it "too many" or "too much" when it comes to blogs such as MySpace, Facebook, LiveJournal, etc?
MySpace allows people to change the fonts, layout, background, colors, and also allow people to add videos, sound files, flash animation, animated GIF, etc. Facebook allows people to add applications and make requests to others to add the same application. Livejournal allows people to make comments of all sorts. My opinion? MySpace is abused by people who overdo things on their profiles. I've seen people... use animated backgrounds that makes reading everything else difficult... use background colors and font colors that are almost the same making reading difficult... only post pictures of something as comments instead of actually typing in an actual comment... embed huge video/music files that make the page take too long to load... embed a bunch of flash animations... etc. I know a lot of people who do this excessively and they aren't my friends. If they really want me to read their profile, make it feel welcoming... not frightening. Livejournal is abused by people who post stupid comments too often. I've seen people... post daily comments about every single movie they watched... every Snapple cap trivia they opened... every "I will always love you!" type of comment towards someone that dumped them long ago... make arguments that are pointless or refuse to accept the fact that they are wrong... etc. One guy actually posted every movie he watched on DVD in one comment and every movie he watched in theaters in another comment... on the same day. Along with that, he opened a bottle of Snapple and read a trivia under the cap. So, he posted that as well on the same day. He would make almost 10 comments every single day. When you want to read what your friends have to say, it is considered insulting when you're stuck going through multiple pages of one person's comments before you can actually read other people's comments. When there's too many, you lose them. Now, that's not friendly. Facebook is abused by people who join too many groups and install too many applications. Installing applications are like adding stuff to your MySpace profile. Although others have some control over it by minimizing those applications, it gets out of hand when people have too many. I've seen people who have 60, 80, or 100 applications on their profiles. It makes their profiles scary and unattractive. If I want to make a wall comment, I have to scroll down several pages just to do so... and I'm not gonna bother. I guess those people don't want us to talk to them. Oh, another thing... application requests? Seriously, why do people have to bug other people about applications? I've seen people do a request every single day. Just because they installed an application doesn't mean that every single one of their friends will want it too! Grr... One of these days... I'm gonna start deleting friends who do this to me. If they don't make their profiles attractive and homely, then I'm gonna feel unwelcome and delete them from my list. No hard feelings. I just don't feel welcome to your place any more.

I don't put too much on my profile on myspace, just add a layout. I noticed that more people are putting graphics on my comment box, It's gets annoying I prefer them to talk to me instead of posting "It's Monday, or It's Tuesday, or It's Wednesday" like I don't even know the days of the week or what day it is today? I don't need those junk on my comment box. I do deleted some comments that are not worth to keep. I'm not trying to be mean but I feel like they leave me comment just because they have to, I want them to leave me comments because they want to.
![]() I don't have facebook, I prefer just one, which is myspace.

I don't even use livejournal, myspace, or facebook. I don't see the point of it, if you can already talk to friends through phone, IM, or etc. including something most seem to have forgotten, face to face.
But I do agree, it's not good to make it difficult to read what someone post or reading pointless comments are no fun as well.

Myspace is hell of annoying...
I was used to like GreatestJournal, but as due of its quality going down alot, I guess I like Insanejournal now. They both are similar to Livejournal.

Hey everyone, I know some of you guys tried to pm me or leaving a message on my profile. I am very sorry that I haven't been around here lately because I went up to Puyallup State Fair working with my parents, and then I decided to go to Yakima Fair with my parents to work more, somehow when I came back and discovered that my computer had collasped. So I won't be using the computer as often as I was used to. Thanks everyone
