Red face what is the best thing you like about thankgiving?

Getting together as a family, is by far, the greatest thing about Thanksgiving. I love the food, but I find each year I am getting more and more tired and perhaps this is how we end up relinquishing duties to our young ones. I have so many things to be thankful for. A great family, the cutest daughter I've ever seen, a roof over my head and the ability to put food on my table. I am grateful that when I wake up each morning I can see delight in the beauty around me that God has given, the sunrise, the sunset, and even the rain. I am thankful for my friends who are so caring and considerate of everything.

Nothing beats fresh Turkey! I already reserved one.

If you haven't tried and can afford extra $$$ then I'd advise you try get fresh turkey rather than frozen turkeys.

If you do, better follow instruction as they roast less time than frozen, and they shed more juice, yummmmy Even better, they are softer than the frozen turkey.

In my hometown there are two turkey farms here.

This is Maggie. She is just domestic schnauzer dog. Why did I pick her for Pet of the Week? Maggie didn't like grooming processing! She is known as bitter of last few groomer! However, Maggie was so nice to me and didn't bite me at all when I gave her haircut except for nail clipped. Boy she got !! Maggie was adopted by family for 6 years and her life with families never stop growling!!

The best thing about thanksgiving is giving Thanks to God. God have given me a wonderful wife, 2 daughter, and to darn many animals LOL. We also appreciate the food God have given us and ask Him to Bless the food, home, and family.
