Reading some articles I don't think the word means "death". I think the word is a variation of "mahdur ad-damm" or "mahdur ol-dam". These seem to mean a person who violates Islam and must die. I would not agree with any idea like these.

From Gems of Islam: Wrong Doers or Derogatory Terms

"Mahdur ad-damm - one whose blood must be shed (be killed) by a good Muslim (from Taheri Spirit).

From the Herald Tribune: Look What Consorting With Tehran Gets You

Anyone who defies the Supreme Guide, at home or abroad, is Muahrrib an-Allah (He who wages war on Allah) and becomes Mahdur ad-Damm (He whose blood must be wasted).

Use "mahdur ad-damm" in Google and you find a lot of crazy ideas also. If you vote because of these I guess you agree with the Ayatollah and others who decide people must die because against Islam.
