No Sag Zone In Central Arkansas?
ArkansasMatters.com
No Sag Zone In Central Arkansas? Reported by: Tom Yazwinski, KARK 4 News Friday, Aug 24, 2007 @05:55pm CST The ordinance claims saggy pants are an epidemic, and people may soon need to pull them up or pay up. Nathan Collins says, "It's a natural thing for me. It don't effect me none. It don't matter how people look at me, I'm gonna sag regardless." He thinks banning saggy pants goes past the pantie line. Collins says, "If someone fines you for saggin', it's like fining you for walking around the street in one of these tank tops right here." Others we ran into say the country does need a form of fashion police patrolling the streets. Harvey Diesner says, "I think if someone wants to wear them like that, that's fine with me. It looks stupid. Why someone would want to do that is beyond me. You see enough butt cracks from the carpenters and plumbers, you don't need to see them from everybody else." O. D. Kumpee says, "I don't want to be walking down the street and seeing the backside of someone's hind-end. Pants weren't meant to be worn down to your knees, if they were, everybody here would be wearing them down to their knees." Could a similar ordinance make its way to the natural state? One local law maker is taking a seat on this issue. North Little Rock Mayor, Patrick Hays says, "While I'm not a big fan of baggy britches and undergarments being shown, I don't think it's very attractive. I don't think government ought to go that far." --------------------------- What do you think of no Sag zone? Should we enforce the rules? I am curious of your opinions on this subject. no bashing or insults or else I will have the moderator lock the thread. So pls respect and discuss whys its good or not? pls share!

I agree about the fact that there are people out there who walk around with their pants down at their knees. It makes them look stupid and retarded. They're walking around with their boxers showing and they think it makes them "high & mighty" among others that it actually makes them look "low & infant-like".
Whenever I see people dressing like that, I laugh. Hehehe!

It's also nasty seeing the guys walk around holding onto their crotch areas with one hand to keep their pants up (I guess that's what they're doing). Ugh!
Also nasty is girls wearing thongs that show the "T" above the pants or skirt "waist" band. (The waistband is now set about 1/2 inch above the pubic region, so I guess they aren't called "waist" bands anymore; I don't know what they call them now--"hip" bands?) Hey guys and girls: it's called "underwear" for a reason! It's supposed to be worn under the clothing. I work on a college campus, and I see that bad taste in clothing is like an epidemic. |

Those who are wearing that way is a huge shut off for me. They look terrible that way. It's not cool and they think it is. I'd love to pull their pants down and let everyone laugh at that guy.

There was one deaf woman in her early 50's, she wore a thong under her pink sweat pants. We rode on our bikes together for exercisin' and I can see her rear .. gee, it was realllly embarrassin'. I told her about this and she seems didn't care. She told me that she just love it and it made her feel comfortable. I was like " Oh, ok " ... whatever.
After that, I will never ride on my bike with her again. I ride on my bike alone........

Y E S!! I agree totally...im sooo sick of looking at those silly
assed boys who think its cool to wear their baggy pants down to "you know where"...its just totally disgusting and nasty to me. I have seen one young man, practically hanging on to his stupid pants just to keep it from dropping to the ground....c r i k e y!! People were lookin at him, disgusted..cuz his hand was on the zipper....geeeez. (like Freaky cat said about her nephew holdin his crotch..same thing..) ![]() I think it H I G H time that this decent, law-abiding country do something about it...pull up those damn pants or PAY UP! HEH!!

lol no! I prefer tight jeans and tight tshirt, I don't like to pull my pants up everytime it go loose down. It's just that I mean those guys who wear the baggy pants that show their underwear or those girls wear a thong underwear doesn't bother me as long as they feel as comfortable.

I personally say this... Why not have them dress like Steve Urkelle (family matters) instead of baggy their pants down!! LMAO...

I could care less what people wear, but when it comes to letting their kids dress like reject back up singers for a rap video about garden tools and russian made guns I feel obliged to let out cries of outrage. I still can't believe theres a market for thongs for children as young as 6.
