I am total against hunt the wild animals for the fun and sport... It make me madder... and more hurt... That's why I refused to eat rabbits, deers, boar, etc. that's why we don't go "hunt" resturants... or don't buy any meats from hunt house.

Germany: Court ruling issued on Halal slaughtering

Karstruhe, Germany, Dhul Hijja 3/Feb 15 (IINA) – A ruling by the Constitutional Court of the Federal Republic of Germany gives the Muslims the right to slaughter animals the Islamic way, Halal, though many Germans still oppose the measure. One of the anti-Muslim publications went to the extent of calling the ruling a "return to the middle ages," and that it was against the wishes of the majority, who are non-Muslims. There are over 5,000,000 Muslims in Germany, the majority of them of Turkish origin.

Muslim Population

No wonder why former muslims are also against it, too. I am total furious with the court for give Muslim right to treat the animal with pain like this. I really don't understand the court because honor killing accord muslim's belief are not acceptance accord German law but they allow muslim to kill animals like this... *shake my head disgusitly*.

I, myself, couldn't bear to hunt and never have been. But I do eat meat. It is difficult to understand the purpose of meat. More as of food chain. Like wildcats eat antelope or other wild, wolves eat other animals. Bears eat other animals. Are they cruel? Many time by saying, oh, that is part of nature, food chain. Hmm, but human can't. That is where I see the problem. BUT, as of debate here, I have no disrespect of it, but criticizing and using wrong attitude toward those who do love meat, shouldn't be that way. Sometimes, I do think all the animated animals on TV lead the problem. Not so sure. Bec by watching it with all the touch stories about how animals act. Other thing, when I was sooo little, I gagged when I watched how they killed cattles for making meat and couldn't bear it. But still I do eat meat. Thru the years been changing how to kill animals for meat. But one thing, it is contradiction by saying, you can't love animals by eating meat, that is absolutely not true. Each of us has different way of seeing how each of us view.

It's illegal to sell wild animal meats at all grocery stores in USA.

Interesting... what should they do with dead wild animals then?

Here in Germany, the people must register the membership to join hunting club. (5 minutes walk from my house)... The hunting club have their own small restaurant for wild animals like boars, deers, hares meats. It's not daily resturant but few times a year only if they have a lot of wild animals and let us know they have meats... They must ask the city town for the permit before open the resturant and sell the meats to the people. The people can buy the meats from there to cook at home or eat there. All wild animals are not go to grocery stores or whatever but hunting club/house. They all must have liescne permit for join hunting club.

I once withnessed many dead hares hang on the open van on way to hunting club...

I am sure you have heard of the so-called organisation called People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Well, check this out: PETA Kills Animals.

I don't think I would give up eating meats and become vegetarian/fruitarian.

It doesn't mean that I become a Vegetarian but I do eat 4 different meats (beef, chicken, turkey and pork), not all wild animals, babies animals, etc., not animal testing.

Now, im confused...You say you eat beef, chicken, turkey and
pork? Well, how do you think they were processed? mmmm?
They were slaughtered in meat processing houses, first of all, of
course!
Wildlife were processed the same way, either the hunters do that
themselves or they can take the deer to the slaughter houses and they
do cutting up and packaging the meat for you.
No difference!

Yes, he has to register with New York state to get license to hunt
and fish, its the law.
No, he does not have membership to any hunting club, its not required.
But he is looking to join a Gun club, for shooting practice purposes and
and all.
Umm, he dont have to have license to butcher his own deer, really. He
rather take the deer to the butcher shop and have it processed.

You have no respect on my personal feeling then don't argue with me.

We aren't cavemen anymore since we aren't in 1 million years ago.

I have never heard of one having to be licensed to butcher animals like that.

My step-father was a hunter for many, many years until he was forced to retire from it due to his back. This is something he missed doing. I wouldn't mind go hunting with him, but we don't really get along. I think he is looking into getting back in gun clubs on nationally and locally levels. He also is considering to retire early from his current position and go back in law enforcement. I doubt he would be able to be on the SWAT squad again like he was when he lived in Tennessee and Houston.

There are many different unprocessed and processed meats and sausages but I choose lean organic unprocessed meats with low fat over processed meats and sausages...

Beef fillet or roast beef like this.. also the same with pork as well, schnitzel.

Chicken breast boneless fillet ... or roast chicken... also the same with turkey as well, schnitzel.

ground beef/pork meats are very rare but I only pick lean unpocessed beef with no fat and ask the butcher to grind for me to make my own hamburgers. I do eat processed meats and sausages rare.

I HATE bones... I cannot eat the meats with bones... I alway pick boneless meats and bones for my hubby & 2 boys.

I have never heard of anyone eating bones.

Thinking hard... my mother usually buy boneless meats but sometime will buy porks and roast beef () with bones and cut the bones off after they are cooked/baked.
