As much as I, too, love animals(the kind we are talking about: Dogs, cats, etc), I think they are a lower form of animal that cannot reason/rationalize and therefore, have no soul. This is a difficult topic to debate because we come from different belief systems (oh, do lower animals have a belief system? LOL!) and we will never come up with ONE answer that will satisfy everyone here.

So, relax, take a deep breath. One spiky haired person here is enough for me! Lol....

Yes I know what you mean. Yes I aware that there´re many different interpretation over soul. The beleivers use those word "Soul" but I use those word "soul". I know it´s confusion between "S" and "s".

Reba or others believers, please correct either I am mistake or not over the difference between "S"oul and "s"oul.

Yes I was realized that some people interpret soul differently accord their belief but I have no problem to accept what they are when I interpret soul differently as them.

Well, its improved some since we used it more but we wont
drink from it..We have filtered water to the refrigerator
for water and ice so we drink from that and bottled water.
We use the well water for bathing, washing dishes, washing

Old times in Europe drink from the barrel.
Pirates drink from the sea.

Yes we can drink the water in very natural. We can go get some water from the river and carry to home, then drink it. We will be fine. Today, we have the technology to have very clean water to drink, as we carried on in the future.

But. Just don't forget that water comes from the river. Just like the animals get their own water from.

Oh I forgot, animals DO bath! Bears bath themselves in the water too. The cats wash themselves with their own tounge. Dogs licking on their own public area to keep clean. You know in fact, animal's teeth are more clean than us humans. Ok for example, if a stick stuck on a cat's paws, would that cat leave it? Of course not, that cat will get it off immedately. That mean that cat have a soul. Animals are not that much stupid.

Yes, i know the Native Americans and the old timers drank water from
the rivers and all, that was fine back then way before the water was
not POLLUTED! Now its very polluted and these well waters, ugh are not
clean either, they may contain bacteria and may be polluted also! We
refuse to drink it, period. Here in New York, the water has high levels of
IRON! pretty nasty! If it is not filtered, it leaves light orange color on
everything like on your shower tiles, when you wash clothes (white clothes)
it can leave orangy tint, in kitchen sinks, it can leave orangy stains, etc..
ugh! Thats why we have filtered system to our water to take care of that
crap.
Pirates drank from the Sea?? all that salt? yikes...dont think they did that.

I know animals clean themselves..especially cats..they lick and all..thats
good but boy, do they get hair balls...eeew. lol!

Lol, you guys! The fly on the wall bit was facetious....cuz being a fly on the wall in your homes, etc, I'd know everything about you, lol......eagles are a beautiful, proud animal but as I type this, my legs are turning to Jello as I'm not crazy about heights. I'm not religious or spiritual so this is just a guess. I'd imagine to be consistent with beliefs, either all (independently?) living things would have souls, or none of them would.

Maybe I should recheck the definition of soul, but I don't think animals have souls because I don't think anything does.

Sorry but that's not true. Animals DO have feelings. I find Jilli much more rational in her approach to life then many humans. She has a much better personality.

All animals have souls. Humans are not really that differant then other animals.

I know animals all have souls as I once had a rat called Mango Lassi who died in a fight. Then she came back in the shape of another rat called Nancy. I am sure they were the same rat as the presonality was so much the same.

Yupp you are RIGHT...

My cat have lot of things that symbols that she have a soul. I know every what she dislike or likes, connect with her mood, etc. My cat is the most close to me than any living things ever lived.

Feel, moving, voicing, etc means SOUL!

No feel, not moving, no voicing, NO SOUL!
